  1. I wanna see an episode just focusing on the Justice League.

NO NO NO. That's never gonna happen and should never happen. This is a show about teen heroes and their growth. It would be just like having Batman on appear on Teen Titans: He would just overshadow Robin and company. While Batman and the Justice League do appear on the show, they appear strictly as mentors.

  2. What villains would y'all like to see appear on the series eventually (they've said they won't use Deathstroke, at least for the time being, since he was the main villain of Teen Titans and they want to set their show apart from it)?

I'd like to see Red Hood Vs Robin.... I'd love to see these creators take on Etrigan even though he's not a villain.

    Joker obviously.... Lobo maybe? :D

Amen to Joker, Etrigan, and Lobo

I'd like to see Luthor and wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the secret scientists working with Cadmus; one of them I think is the Brain because on one of the screens is a bullet-shaped head and a French accent; a few more of Batman's rogues would also be nice, like Mad Hatter or Two-Face

  3. Just curious, have any of these DC animated cartoons as of late ever gone over the amount most seem to be cancelled at. I think someone said they all get about 50 something or 60 something episodes and then are automatically cancelled?

Nope, even when the series has high ratings the networks and the people involved don't push to keep going.

Unlike DC live-action television series these days, by the way...

  4. Not only was that the 60's series head bust he opened to push the button, but wasn't that the Gotham Knights' Bruce Wayne office?

Maybe, but his design definitely owes a bit to his Gotham Knights incarnation. Speaking of which, what's he doing in Metropolis?

Also, what does everyone think about Gotham City being in southeastern Connecticut?

I know this is a different part of the multiverse but when Superman and Batman took down President Luthor at the same time Talia sold Lexcorp to Wayne Enterprises. If I am remembering correctly.

There's nothing to suggest either of these things happened in this universe. Though it might take a few stories from the comics, this show follows its own damn continuity, rather than slavishly adopting comic story-arcs like the X-Men Animated Series in the 90s did (don't get me wrong, I quite like that show and it had good source material to work with, but as a result lacked some originality in its story arcs).

  6. Yeah, there aren't many female Superman villains, let alone ones that can be big enough for a movie. Off the top of my head:

The Contessa (Doesn't work without Lex or Cadmus.)

    Silver Banshee (Low scale)

La Encantadora (I think I'm the only one who remembers this chick.)

Maxima (Doesn't work in the first movie.)

Parasite (Why use the female Parasite that's barely still in continuity anyway?)

Mercy (Once again, only if Lex is there.)

Blaze (People might be confused why Supes is fighting Girl Satan.)

Come to think of it, Rosamund Pike would be a kickass Mercy if she was able to do an American accent.

  7. It is just possible that Bale's never heard of the guy, but hey, let's paint him as a douchebag - after all, he once got angry when filming a scene for a movie.

Other actors, though, as a well as a few directors, have actually defended him and talked about how annoying it is when crew members can't stay still.

  8. He was in Hellraiser: Hellworld. He can't be all that bad...ok, nevermind.

I honestly don't give a shit until they announce the guy doing the voice of the giant robot that Superman fights.

    come again?

He's saying that this movie has little to no value until we get to see Superman beat the fuck out of something. I'm inclined to agree.

    O...then I agree too.

  9. Hmm. Right you are. Looks like they typed "June" instead of "July", because the actual numbering makes sense. This episode would take place July 22, putting it 4 days after the last one, which seems to fit.

btw awesome post on Tw*tlight: Eclipse (the vowel that the * represents is open to interpretation)

  10. o, and HUGE continuity flub with the episode "Drop Zone": The date it's set at is June 22nd, but the pilot was set on July 4th. And I very much doubt that almost a year would have gone by between the two episodes.

No, that first scene takes place before the pilot. Then the rest of the episode (the part that actually involves the teens) comes later.

No. The opening with Bane takes place on June 19th, while the first scene with the team in Miss Martian's transport is on June 22nd. It's still a flub.
