  1. That has massive shitstorm written all over it.
  2. Edge of Tomorrow: This movie is, ultimately, very well-made. While, yes, there are a lot of problems with it when you start to think about it a little too much, ultimately, it's very fun. I'd describe it as a sort of Groundhog Day-meets-Starship Troopers-meets-Aliens hybrid, what with the time travel and aesthetics. Ultimately, it's a very good movie, with a few flaws. 3. Finally hit 100% completion in inFamous Second Son.
  4. I would do anything for another one, honestly.
  5. Dredd: Holy balls, I love this movie. This is probably the third or fourth time I've seen it, and each time I see it, I love it a little bit more. It's based off of Judge Dredd, and does such a better job of adapting the source material than the Stallone version. For starters, it actually does look like Mega-City One, and this would be at least a three-part story arc, if not longer. Karl Urban is absolutely genius in the titular role of Judge Dredd, emoting so much with only his mouth and chin. And the best thing about this version is that Dredd doesn't take his helmet off once. The closest we get is a vague shape of the back of his head in the opening, and that's it. Seriously, I cannot emphasize how good this movie is. Films watched: 9
  6. Someone somewhere is writing really bad Star Wars/Ghost Rider fan fiction
  7. Ernest and Celestine: Y'know, after all the shit that I've had to go through over the past few days, this movie was a good break from everything. It's a cute little animated movie, originally from France, thats based on the book series of the same name. I'd highly recommend it.\ Films watched: 8

  9. Well, it really isn't that hard to be better than the Tim Burton Apes movie.
  10. Attack the Block: It's a nice bit of British sci-fi. While the main characters are a little hard to sympathize with initially, that wore off kinda quickly. It's kinda a mix of alien invasion flick, siege flick, and rag-tag group of kids flick. Plus, it has the black Stormtrooper in Star Wars 7 as the main character. Films watched: 6
  11. Eraserhead: Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said? This movie is one of the tentpoles of avant-garde filmmaking. And, really, I can't say anything that'll make a lot of sense. I mean, I liked it a lot. But god, this film is really non-linear and full of symbolism. Films watched: 5
  12. John Dies At The End: Based on the book of the same name, JDatE is not a traditionally good movie, but it doesn't try to be one. It just sets out to be entertaining and fun, which it excels at. Yes, it can have some shaky acting at times, yes, it can have some really shitty effects, and yes, it could have been more faithful to the source material. But all of that really just adds to the charm, in my opinion. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to watch something that's cheesy, gory and fun. Films watched: 4

  14. Speaking of Bioware games, I'm currently doing my Insanity run-through of Mass Effect 3.
  15. It really is, honestly. I'd easily rank it above even CE in terms of my favorite Halo games.
  16. So far, I've seen the following: Guardians of the Galaxy: Second time around, still a pretty good movie. I actually managed to notice a few things that I didn't notice before, like how the Slither monster is in the Collector's trophy room. Wild: The new Reese Witherspoon flick, which is actually really cool. She plays someone who's life got punched in the throat after her mom died, and she decides to hike from the Mexican border to the Canadian border. I'd really recommend it. Sunshine: Danny Boyle really does know how to make a good movie Feature Films: 3

  18. I haven't been able to get the most recent Extra Lives episode. Is this a problem for anyone else, or is it just my shitty computer?
  19. I agree. This act is the biggest example of stupid since someone greenlit Batman and Robin
