  1. Since my Wii really hasn't been interesting me, I have jumped into a minor SNES fix. Played some UN Squadron and reminded myself why I suck at it so much. Anytime you get hit once, you have to avoid getting hit again for a certain period of time or you'll die instantly. Still like the game, but I wish I wasn't so crappy at it. <_<

Another SNES game I jumped into was Super Castlevania 4. With all the Castlevania games I've played, I don't think I've ever been able to beat the old school games for one reason or another. Gonna give that another try and hopefully beat it some day soon.

I sucked at this game. Horribly as a matter of fact, but I really enjoyed this game and loved to watch people play it all day. I might even break out the ol SNES and try giving it a shot one more time, see if I don't get my ass kicked horribly at it.

Anyone else liked it? No respecting other games in this thread, do that in Yodas thread.

  3. Yeah, I am pretty excited for this. I just hope I their all pretty goods characters and not just one good character with the other two being lamers.

And I'm still waiting for Sonic to be announced in the game. At this point, I'm afraid he won't be and that'll be a real huge shame. But I'm hoping they'll mention him at the last minute.

  4. This must have slipped by me in the news, but apparently this Metroid game was announced and is suppose to be the first side scrolling game featuring Samus on the DS. On IGN, they found a scanner in Metroid Prime 3 that said "Project Metroid Dread nearing completion". Which of course could be anything from factual information to Retro trying to pull everyone elses leg.

Never the less, I sure hope it is true. I need a new side scrolling Metroid game.

  5. I recently got to relive this game and had a blast with it. I remember playing this and the second game back on the NES, they were both a lot of fun. The puzzles are really challenging and I'm fairly confident I never was able to beat the second game, but the first one I've beaten before and just recently beat it once again. Yet another one of those uniqe NES titles that doesn't receive enough recognition. Though at least they didn't make an abomination of it on another one of the later systems like the SNES or the PS.

Anyone else remember this game? Yes, I know it's on VC. That's why I remembered it. But has anyone ever played it back on the NES?
