  1. I just recently was able to get back into Beast Wars and absolutely LOVED it. I can't understand how anyone could possibly of hated it. Beast Machines, on the other hand.......
  2. Got Scarface from my Blockbuster game pass(Originally had Paper Mario, but that didn't work so well) and can't even get past one of the first missions. Suppose to find some guy, but can't find where the son of a bitch even is. NEXT!
  3. Dubs just reminded me, I still need to get through Silent Hill 3 for the PS2, I'm also curious about Zack and Wiki, just to see what IGN is yapping their gums about,
  4. Pretty simple, what games coming out this year are you guys all excited for the most on any gaming platform. For me? There's is no game I am dying to play more than Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I'd say Mario Galaxies is a very close second, but I am just so excited for the prospect of another Smash Brothers game and the potential online play that will come along with it. I just hope they keep Falco in it and leave him the same as he was in Melee. He may have been a rip-off of Fox, but I still liked using him better.
  5. Super Paper Mario and Resident Evil 4 for the Wii. I also have Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess now, but want to get through some other games before actually starting on it.
  6. Depends on your taste, really. If you're into FF games another game that would be smart to pick up would be FFIII remake. I also enjoyed Mario and Luigi RPG for the DS, which was really good. If you don't mind text based games, then both Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Hotel Dusk would be some solid purchases. Especially Hotel Dusk which I really enjoyed, though I had to use a strategy guide on it many times as there were points I was just flat out stuck on and couldn't do anything. Tetris DS. I know, it's for the most part the same game as the rest. It has a couple of different modes to play, but it's still really fun and I haven't played any DS game Online more than that game. There's actually a huge variety of puzzle games I'd like to try for the DS if I ever have the time to get to them. I cannot reccomend the Castlevania games enough. If you haven't fancied the series before, chances are these won't change your mind. But if it's your first time, I highly recomend at least giving one of them a try. If you'd like some Online titles, than games like Metroid Hunters and Animals Crossing would be solid. Never played Metroid first hand, but I have heard good things about it. If you don't mind using the touch screen to move, it should be a solid purchase. Age of Empire is suppose to be pretty good and is a strategy game, which is the type of game you like. I own it, but haven't really gotten around to playing it since I've been fouced on Phoenix Wright and my newly purchased Wii. My little brother likes it if that counts for anything.
  7. I know. If this game could find some way of being released(And escaping the AO touch of death), it has potential to do really great sales. Which would be great for Nintendo as they need an m-rated and non-Nintendo game to sell really well.
  8. By the way, I really hate the summon system in FFIII. Absolutely hated it. I used Odin during my battle with the final boss, and apparently that put a shield on my characters that I never knew you could even do. So when I tried curing all my fighters, it reflected and went onto the boss. That nearly cost me the entire fight and pissed me off since I had put so much energy just to get there. Why couldn't they have just made it so one thing happens when you use a summon spell and not one of two random powers?
  9. I beat it! I had to reach lvl 63, equip everyone with a ribbon, change a ninja to a sage and use the highest cure level two times a round, but I was finally able to beat her. God that made me feel good.
  10. Well hell, I probably could've whooped her had I known that.
  11. It's just a temporary save. If you die, you lose everything and have to start back at the point you saved it at. Which has to be outside the castle. Do the ribbons cure from being turned into a frog? I actually beat all four of those mini bosses, but had no idea what the point of those were.
  12. To drq, in FFIII, do you have to face every boss in the darkworld? I've faced the second version of the final boss twice now and she's destroyed me with a blow that takes 9999 life to all members. I'm at lvl 62 with almost everyone and I can't even survive the first screen. So am I suppose to fight everyone in that area or am I doing something else wrong? --edit--Answered my own question. Went to beat all the bosses afterwards, and STILL could not beat her. Stood a chance, but she still kicked my sorry ass with slight ease. I'd have an easier time if she didn't stun/ turn all my characters into frogs. I now see what everyone was saying about this. It takes waaaay too long to get to her and beating her is just a bitch.
  13. Oh, it's fine. I was just curious is all. I actually figured you were going to say that you got bored and were on a overload with the series.
  14. Didn't you say you were going to try and play through all the FF games in order? Whatever happened to that?
  15. I'm gonna try to reach 60. I'm already at 57 now and have to build up a couple different classes, so I might as well buildmy character levels up higher. I have two ninjas, which the strategy guide suggested you have, a sage(Even though I'm thinking about going back to the devoute) and a knight, which I'd rather not change if I can.
  16. I'm with DRQ in the FF thread about the final boss in FFIII being a total bitch. I don't know what level I'm suppose to be at to even stand a chance against her, but it has to be way higher than I'm at right now. And I thought 54 was a pretty decent one.

  18. Mega Man X: The Day of Sigma
  19. I can't speak for DRQ, but I just do some quick searches to find most of mine. I found the Mario:Game Over clip while on myspace and decided to go searching for funny clips when I had some dead time. The only one I've really known about for a long time was the Mega Man music, which I really can't remember how I came across that. Here's a Street Fighter one
  20. I thought Final Fantasy IV for the GBA was pretty much the same game as the previous, just brought to the GBA and maybe some minor modifications to the writing. Was the graphics really changed that much on the game? I will admit, though, I had completely forgotten they'd released FFIV not too long ago on the GBA. That is pretty damn quick to be releasing that game after the Game Boy version.
  21. Spin offs are new games. They can't keep making different FF games with the basic turn based style for every single console. I admit I'd much prefer to see a new FF game on my Nintendo DS or even a Wii when I get one. But I've accepted long ago if I ever wanted that, it'd have to be on a Sony system and that's just not something about to do. So really, playing my favorite FF game in remade form is something I'm sure as hell not going to complain about. I just don't see the big deal about this. Nothing getting out of hand and the original FF game hasn't even seen as many different variations as the latest Madden game. Square has made a lot of great games and they want to get as much out of them as they can. You also forgot to mention that the DS is also getting a version of Crsytal Chronicles. Which by all accounts, will probably suck really hard.
  22. That's what happens when a game sells well on different platforms. Although I do doubt the version for the Wonderswan did very well and really question why they brought one of their titles on there. Again, it's cheap to do since they've already done it and people obviously keep buying them otherwise they wouldn't be releasing anymore. So what reason do they have to stop?
  23. So in case FFIII turns into a one time thing and next installment doesn't sell nearly as well as the last one, they can choose to stop with that title.
  24. I was surprised how fun FFIII is considering how low of expectations I held for it. The reviews I read really made me think this one wouldn't be so fun, but it's turned out to be a really great game and I absolutely can't wait to replay through Final Fantasy IV one more time. I might even start playing it again on the PS1 in anticipation for this.
