  1. I think I know what those are, that's like the google bot people were asking about on the Oratory. But that certainly was a huge amount of bots to have jumped on at once. Oh well, least were popular with the group of non-humans. Now I wish I posted this in the Banter Forums, I have the urge to lock something right now.
  2. Alright, so I was skimming through the board. Trying to come up with a topic to bring up or just something to do for this site. I came from looking at the top ten people who have posted on this forum when I noticed something. Most users ever online was 71 on Jul 6 2006, 06:48 AM Wait, what? I remember when we had about ten or twenty people who visited this site at the same time. But over seventy?? What happened on that day for so many people to have jumped on like that? Yeah, it's a pretty meaningless question. But I'm curious what brought everyone here that day.

    Admit it...

Wii-less still. Sorry, there's NOTHING for me to confess!
  4. You heard this from amazon of all places? That seems kinda weird.
  5. Credit to IGNwii http://wii.ign.com/articles/752/752120p1.html I think I own the Castlevania game, but it's nice to see their not just releasing Nintendo games from the SNES days.
  6. Meh, I don't drive, so I don't have to worry about paying car insurance or anything in that area. I also save up to buy some of these games and split rent/utilites so that I'm not spending a huge amount. So really, I do have money to burn. And as Yoda said, some these games were gifts from family/friends. But yeah, some people do own a lot of games around here. And I'm definitely one of those people.
  7. Meh, whatever. I already own a DS and am not about to spend money just so I can have one with larger screens. If people want to do that, more power to them. But I don't have the money to throw around like that. And yeah, as much as I love Nintendo. I hate that they keep doing this.
  8. I agree. Game-makers too often feel the need to use all of a system instead of just what they need to make a good game. I blame reviewers for this partially. How often do reviews take off points for games that (are good games but) don't use the full touch screen capabilities? It seems like a common point made by all reviewers that fit that build of DS games I HATE that. I don't mind the design at times because it does bring unique concepts like with Kirby Canvas Curse, which was a really great game. But I can't stand people bitching about how the touch screen isn't put to use at all times. The design is there for people who want to use it, it's not mandatory for you to use it. In some cases, it actually makes some great games bad, such as Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow and it's stupid seal drawing to put away a enemy. I absolutely loved that game, but fucking hated having to draw a shitty seal just so I can move on to the next area. If you want to make things more difficult, make the boss harder. This makes me want to build my levels higher and work harder so I can finally beat him. The seals made me want to return the game when I first started dealing with them. As for what games I'd like to see? An old school Metroid game. My Castlevania fix is being quenched and I have a Mega Man game. They all did fine, so why not give Samus another run in 2D?
  9. Are they ever going to release Kirby Super Star or Super Metroid onto this? Those are the two games I want the most out of this whole Virtual Console games being released, and I haven't heard a thing about them.

Has there ever be this huge of a world wide release of a system than with the Wii? Seriously, everytime I look up IGN I see a new place where the Wii has been released. So far I believe Japan, Austrailia, Canada and Europe have all had a Wii released to their land, on top of the States getting it.

Alright, let's try this again. "I was referring to the games that were being released. I know what roms are and use to play them before having to clear my old computer" Better, Jimberg?

Don't care or never heard of them, so meh.
  16. From what I can understand, you can now send messages, trade Mii's and things of that nature over to other people. Plus play Online games with them once Nintendo finally starts making them. That's about all I know you can do with them.
  17. I've always wondered that too. The latest sales figures put the PSP 4 million units behind the DS in worldwide sales, which isn't that bad. I think we all can agree that the DS is the current leader in the handheld market, but the PSP is far from a flop or failure that most people peg it to be. Where did you get that information? I find it hard to believe the DS is only beating the PSP by four million units.
  18. I've always wondered how Mario became a plumber. They should make a game chronicling his struggles to get into the profession.
  19. Liberty City Stories is already out for the PS2, but I've read several reports saying that Vice City Stories will not be ported. Supposedly, Rockstar needs all hands on deck for GTA4. Ehhhh. Okay, so it has one exclusive GTA game. Guess that's something the PSP has.
  20. As I've said, I've never heard of any games that are really considered to be that great. I wasn't one of the people to jump on the it's a total failure band wagon, but the system just hasn't delievered in terms of top selling video games as it's console brother has. Currently the best games I can name off the top of my head are a puzzle game, it's sequel and two GTA games you will be able to purchase on the PS2 in the not too distant future. There might be others, but I can't name off anything. Sony just hasn't wowed anybody with their system since it launched and their sales have been mostly lack luster. Maybe Sony just has too much to live up to with it's dominance over the console market, I actually expected a bigger fight to be thrown by Sony in the handheld market. They do have some critically acclaimed games, but nothing that really stands out as a system selling game. There's nothing about the PSP that seperates them from the it's console brother besides the MP3 features and purchasing mini dvd movies. Maybe they will at some point, but it's getting to a crucial point where the handheld needs to start doing something drastic before it joins the other hand held systems in their failed attempts to take over that martket from Nintendo.
  21. Is there any reason why the PSP is still breathing besides GTA? I haven't heard of any good games for that system other then more PS 1 and 2 ports.
  22. What the guy with the Street Fighter avatar said.
  23. Meh. Currently the DS has all the games I've been dying to play, so I guess it gets my vote. Followed by the Nintendo Wii and 360.
