Sort of an aside, but I had a Tweet favourited by Chloe Webber, aka the girl from Fear Her.

Got this on BluRay today. My first ever bluRay purchase. Can't wait to watch it.

Why? Her American accent was awful. We always give Americans shit when they do our accents badly, but our idea of an American accent is one that no one ever uses.

It's great. Incredibly imaginative and it looks like it could run for years.

Big Finish announces The Light At The End. It's going to be released in November and features Doctors 4-8. 1-3 will be covered too somehow. Looking forward to this and will probably pre-order it.

Big Finish is selling the first Fourth Doctor adventure for a bargain for the next few hours.

Wait, do you mean the Good Ol Boys special with Jodie & TC or was there another issue featuring the other Jodi?

I liked that a lot. Also:
Doctor's face back in the credits!

This panel from Grandville: Bete Noire may be one of my favourite comic panels ever

From my very own digital pen, Merry Christmas Earth-2

It would be great to have a special with all three modern Doctors in it, and hell McGann to given that he never got a fair go on TV. As an aside, I'm getting the Dark Eyes box set for Christmas this year and I'm greatly looking forward to it.

From Pirates of Pangea book 2. Must distract my godson and nick his copies of the Phoenix.

Yep. Venus was great fun. Going to listen to this one on the way home tonight.

Interview with Benedict Cumberbatch and Alice Eve. Sort of spoilers as it contains their character names.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=cMWQ3kKv-bU
So, going by this interview, it looks like Alice Eve is playing Dr Carol Marcus, Kirk's baby mama, and Cumberbatch is playing neither Khan nor Gary Mitchell but a character named John Harrison, who he describes as a one man WMD.

Big Finish have released another ultracheap audio adventure
It's a sequel to "voyage to Venus" which was an incredible amount of fun. If you haven't tried any of the Big Finish stuff yet, this is a great way to start without plunking down a load of cash.

PJ Holden produced this entirely digitally in Manga Studio 5. Can't wait to get this next year.

Got to love Chris Weston

I wince whenever I see that because that's an issue of Warrior that Vyvian tore in half, Warrior being the original home of Marvelman and V For Vendetta. The style of Rik's dream sequence was actually used for a Dennis the Menace show a few years later, where they used puppets. just to be clear, when I say Dennis the Menace I mean this guy

Their work is collected under ABC Warriors: The volgan War, although quite a bit of it is Mills reworking and expanding stories from the original 70s series. The first volumes look like they're out of print unfortunately. I think the highpoint of the series is definitely the double page, portrait of the Volgan's biggest machine: the Stalin. Think of a Titan from Epic 40,000 and you should have an idea of its scale.

Langley's great. He's been working with Mills for about 17 years now, the last 10 using his current style. Always love reading their stuff.

Shako! The only Polar Bear on the CIA Death List!
Rebellion's releasing a collection of this series from the earliest days of 2000AD. It's kind of like Jaws but with a Polar Bear. Oh, also, the Polar Bear is the hero of the piece. The first collection of Judge Dredd: Day of Chaos is also getting released soon as well. Definitely getting that.
