  1. This week the dreadful duo dissect Roger Corman's Poe adaptation of The Fall of the House of Usher starring the incomparable Vincent Price. Then Desmond talks a little about the six-minute Tim Burton short film giving tribute to the man: "Vincent." Recently we marked the centennial of the great actor's birth, and this is the episode we have to pay tribute. Songs in tribute to the man: "The Ghost of Vincent Price" by Wednesday 13, "You've Got a Friend" by Vincent Price, "Vincent" by NOFX, and "Vincent Price Blues" by ZZ Top. Don't forget your comments and questions for episode 200! [ 1:33:36 || 43.0 MB ]

  2. In the debut of a brand new minicast on Dread Media Presents, Desmond Reddick is joined by Ian Wilson for the beginning of their epic journey to review every horror comic book movie adaptation: Dread Reel-ief! First up, we get to know Ian and his experience with horror before digging in to the obscure 2000 Japanese film Uzumaki, based on the popular manga of the same name by Junji Ito. Plenty of laughs to be had, even before the weird J-pop song at the end: "Raven" by Break of Dawn. To the Commonwealth! [ 37:03 || 18.0 MB ]

  3. In this edition of the Tirades, J, D, and M tackle Battlefield Earth, a movie about evil Rastafarians from a giant purple gumdrop that overtook humanity with mostly punch-based weaponry. We didn't make that up, though all facts that we did fabricate are now canon. This episode is best viewed from a 45 degree angle. [ 2:03:02 || 59.5 MB ]

  4. Yippie-ki-yay, mother and father! It's the Married to Movies finale! Desmond and Megan take on Die Hard and Steel Magnolias, pretty much the definitive representatives of their prospective genres. "Pontificous" is not a word. Desmond is right and Megan and Canada's national broadcasting company are wrong. Wrong! A strange noise interrupts a review, but is it the wind... or something paranormal?! Or is it just a hamster? Megan has a really weird side note about Natalie Portman that has nothing to do with anything. Then she makes one good point. But never mind that nonsense. The two dig in to some lovely and heartfelt feedback, and thank all of their listeners for hanging out with them these past 40 episodes. And bickering. There's always bickering. So thank you. You complete us. And get in da choppa! - Desmond and Megan [ 55:28 || 27.0 MB ]

  7. In "The Swamp" the madness is runnin' wild, or is the titular wetland truly mystical? In "Avatar Day" we see the return of the one man too hot to handle and too cold to hold. That's right, The Blue Spirit is back. In "The Blind Bandit" we meet Toph, and we get some awesome nods to pro wrestling greats of the past. What a novel concept. [ 49:41 || 24.1 MB ]

  9. The Heroes kick off the second season with this episode, and it's already coming up kittens and roses and other such fluffy things. "When She Was Bad," "Some Assembly Required," "School Hard," and "Inca Mummy Girl" are the name of the game. Preston postulates and creates a few interesting crossovers, the ongoing Earth-2.net International Throw-Down escalates yet again, and Hanners and Preston kind of fangirl- / boy-out. 11. The theme of today's episode of Animezing Podcast is "What the Hell?" As in, what the hell is the deal with Hetalia? 14. Let me tell you somethin', Mean Gene! Those two dudes, Thor and Ian, they might not be real Americans, brother, but they train, take their vitamins, and are true to their countries, man. And they're gonna make all of the little Earth-2.netamaniacs believe that you don't need to be an American to be a hero! As for Big Barda, she's been to the top of the mountain. She's walked through the valley of the shadow of death, dude. And she might not have 24-inch pythons, man, but what you gonna do when Preston and Michelle give her bio to you?! 15. One podcast. Two men. Three segments. Four Colossi. Five... okay, we thought it'd be fun to do a counting thing. It was, but not nearly as fun as this action-packed episode of Extra Lives. Join Aaron and Damien as they discuss lewd robot gestures, PSN woes, and epic beards. They also continue the Shadow of the Colossus playthrough, where Damien meets his mortal enemy. If that wasn't enough, Tranquil Tirades host James Deaux then joins Damien for an in-depth (RE: long) review of the new Mortal Kombat game! [ 1:46:53 || 49.2 MB ]
