Dave Probert and Ian Wilson return to give their thoughts on two more episodes of Blake's 7. In "Project Avalon," Blake meets with another rebel leader, only to find that Travis and Servalan have laid a trap to capture the Liberator. In "Breakdown," Gan's limiter implant malfunctions causing him to turn violent, so the Liberator traverses a dangerous area of space to find medical help on a neutral space station. Meanwhile, Earth-2.net scores an emphatic victory in the feedback war, the boys discuss Gan's blaxploitation potential, and Julian Glover gets cast in an unlikely role. [ 2:22:42 || 65.3 MB ]

Dread Media is mad as hell, and it can't take this anymore. So Desmond and Darryll decide to break their dry streak and take in two theatrical features as they do Roadkill Reviews on Insidious and Hobo with a Shotgun. After some feedback, join him for a fitting tribute to, the master, Sidney Lumet who left us this week. Shotgun ditties: "Blood Red Sandman" by Lordi, "Shotgun Blues" by Guns N' Roses, and "Davidian" by Machine Head. [ 1:22:12 || 37.8 MB ]

In Uncanny X-Force: The Apocalypse Solution, Wolverine assembles a brand new team to proactively eliminate Apocalypse. Problem is, the world-conquering mutant has been resurrected as a child. Doc Savage: Lords of Lightning provides Earth-2.net: The Show with Mike's latest rant. One that barely allows Dan to speak during the review. And Nextwave: Agents of HATE Ultimate Collection is insane violence for the sake of insane violence. And it's awesome! [ 1:03:33 || 30.9 MB ]

Through science and determination, the scrawny Steve Rogers was converted into Captain America. But it was on the bloody battlefield of World War II that the Sentinel of Liberty was truly born! Art: Ryan Meinerding

In this inaugural edition of Dread Media Presents, Dying in the Gutters busts into its own podcast. And Desmond brought a friend along. It's a segment so big, no episode could hold it. Join Desmond and Chris Johnson as they begin their epic voyage through the classic horror comic series Tomb of Dracula five issues at a time! What podcast could have conversations about Jack Palance, Indian stereotypes, and Dracula pimp-smacking a ho? This one, of course! [ 58:34 || 26.9 MB ]

Also, the mind-shattering true story behind the cause of World War II is revealed! And nothing will ever be the same! The Doctor liberates a metal-deficient planet from its greedy, evil queen ("The Creature from the Pit"), and puts an end to a high-tech drug smuggling operation ("Nightmare of Eden"). And now what you've all been waiting for. Perhaps the most hoped-for review in Earth-2.net history. Relax and enjoy as James, Damien, and Mike take on one of the worst movies of all time: Tommy Wiseau's The Room. It can't be put into strong enough words how much this movie sucks. Let us pull you into a world of horrific sound editing, putrid dialog, and even worse acting. Filming of this movie must have been like having a screwdriver slowly twisted into your ear little by little. Only, the screwdriver is dipped in a lovely cocktail of battery acid and rubbing alcohol beforehand. Of course, Wiseau would have you believe this is all part of some genius "black comedy." Little by little, we think you'll understand why this film is so legendarily awful. So what are you waiting for, get to clickin'! [ 1:01:01 || 29.5 MB ]

This show is cursed, and not just because it marks the end of the spooky Eternal Darkness playthrough. Deja vu, broken computers, and lots of DayQuil are the order of the day as the guys discuss the power of kicking, dead wife plot twists, and tiny heads. Also, more details on the episode 20 contest! Over the past four years, Michael David Sims and I have co-hosted arguably the most popular podcast in Earth-2.net's seven-year history: World's Finest Podcast. And what a ride it's been. Even at our single most gleefully optimistic moment all those years ago, we never could have dreamed that the show would have reached the level of popularity that it has attained. Through all the "Dick" jokes, the impersonations, the legendarily great and the infamously bad episodes, we were rarely at a loss for words. Now that the show has reached its conclusion with episode 100, I wanted to treat our listeners to as detailed a history of the podcast as I can possibly construct.

It's murder, imprisonment, and revenge this week as Darryll treats Desmond to some Oldboy therapy. Desmond is sure to need therapy after a viewing of the weird true-crime documentary Bazaar Bizarre. Then he cleanses the palette with the revenge flick Grim. All this, plus feedback, another DVD giveaway contest, and announcements about the future of the podcast. The following terror tunes are waiting to take their aggression out on you: "Revenge" by Tom Araya, "Ten Ton Hammer" by Machine Head, "The Prisoner" by Suicidal Tendencies, "Grim Facts" by Alice Cooper, and "Revenge" by Ministry. Listen is what you're gonna do, or this podcast will go 1-8-7 on you! [ 1:42:32 || 47.1 MB ]

Episode 01
in Big Damn Heroes
Posted
In their first proper episode, the Heroes dive into the Buffyverse with the series' first four episodes: "Welcome to the Hellmouth," "The Harvest," "Witch," and "Teacher's Pet." Are the lack and inconsistency of certain effects issues of not really having a budget, or of censorship from the network? Just exactly how bitchin' are Giles and Willow? How many times did Cordelia almost die in these episodes, and why would it have been a good thing if she had? And who will we be seeing again from these early episodes? Tune in to find out!
