  1. What I don't get is doesn't that show operate under some sort of entrapment clause? Is it legal what they're doing?

It's a very thin line, but it boils down to the fact that entrapment constitutes a snap decision forced by a law enforcement official. Dateline and Xavier's Perverted Justice don't initiate the contact, are not law enforcement officials themselves, and there is always time to back out of the meeting before going to the bust house.

  2.

    How did you find that?

Spoony forums. Sometimes when you dig through psychotic, sociopathic, and just plain offensive funny picture threads, you will find a true gem.

  3. I'm not convinced that the lycra from the waist down is going to offer the same sort of protection as the old one.

Tony was just having a few drinks and next thing you know, he's not wearing crotch and leg armor. We've all been there right?

Look, Comic-Con went really well, alright? I'd been very good, I was celebrating, everyone was doing it, we thought we could make it to Tijuana, they dropped the charges, so just shut up, okay?!

  4. (I think you mean Whedon, Jack. :P)

And yeah, I was skeptical when he started working with Fox again, though it was supposedly different.

Supposedly, he did it as a favor for Eliza Dushku as she was still under contract for a series at Fox.

  5. 2003 - Comedy Central Presents Tour. After a funny opening comedian whose name I cannot remember for the life of me, Mitch Headberg took the stage and overran his set so badly that we had to stop laughing because our mouths hurt. Then we had Dave Attell, who is much funnier in person than he is on TV, and closed by Lewis Black, who performed half of his "Rules of Enragement" set with his fly open.

2003 - Stephen Lynch w/Mark Teich and Drew Lynch. Performed with the flu and still nailed the final note on "Gay". Fantastic performance.

2005 - Stephen Lynch w/Mark Teich and Rod Cone. Another great performance, and a huge audience. I hadn't been around this many people since Wrestlemania X-7.

  6. If I sell the comics for .20¢ each, I'm looking at less than $1000. I can sell a few of those runs for a few hundred each, even in this economy. I think I'm going to start it at $2500, then slowly work my way down if need be.

Fair enough. My biggest problem was the time frame I was working from, so I hope things go a lot better for you.

  7. As for the price range you suggested, that might be a little high. If I sold them for $3500, that would be .75¢ / book. Granted, that seems low, but some of these books aren't even worth that. I'm thinking $2000, maybe $2500. Which would be .43¢ or .54¢ / book.

You might want to drop that down to around .10¢ to .20¢/book and remove all your trade paperbacks and hardcovers. Simply put, no one is willing to spend that much coin in this economy. I tried to sell my collection while I was moving to Mississippi for like 10% of it's total cost, and still ended up having to take it with me. Maybe Chicago's doing better than Knoxville, but better to actually make a sale. As for the TPB's, you'll get a better deal at a bookshop that takes them.

  8. There is a language bar and a search bar on my laptop toolbar. I hate them. Anyway to remove them so they don't reappear when I start my computer back up?

    What OS do you run?
