  1. I'd rather have a Spiderman musical romantic comedy be released than suffer through Spiderman battling a satellite in orbit over the earth.... That, I disagree with. You're right, I suppose there were a few seconds of the film that could have been added to Mary Jane's subplot...and the constipated look Sandman had on his face the entire time could have culminated in an onscreen sandshit. I only partially agree with this: yes, it was pretty. But for 250 million dollars it goddamn better be pretty. I would still prefer the first two which were just as pretty, only they had stories that weren't slaps in the face. This we don't really know. Sure, there probably will be but there's also the good possibility that there won't.
  2. A Nightmare on Elm Street 2. It is very maligned in horror circles as the worst of the bunch. That has to be the third which many people say is the best. Dumb. The guilty pleasure out of the pack must be Dream Warriors (which I like). There is no defending SM3...
  3. Nope! I haven't done that in some time...I'll have you know! Someone is a stalker! DW! Band name! Hit the "open/close" button. The title is deceptive. domain name: bought! Yes, yes it does.
  4. I prefer Bogus Journey. It kicks all kinds of ass! They melvined Death for God's sake! Ho1000C is good for what it is: a Texas Chainsaw remake with disco glitz. It was oversold before release is the problem.
  5. Am I the only one who thinks that's not Tom Jane?
  6. Well, we are welcoming the world...I guess Winnipeg kind of counts.
  7. Better yet, put FUCKING ANYBODY on Iron Man. I'd like to see Rucka on an Invaders book...that is if I can't do it.
  8. A cold city without an NHL team!
  9. Ian and I should hit up the bars of Chicago. I'll dress like a lumberjack with a tuque and he can wear a bowler hat and ascot. We'll live like kings I tells ya! Dread Media, it should be noted, receives very little feedback as well. We do love you, Ian
  10. That's the sound of Michael eating crow... I kid, I kid! I'll be grabbing the trade on this one. No new ongoings.

    Need some help.

What kind of music are we talking about here?
  12. I can't stand Deicide and Cannibal Corpse for said cookie monster lyrics. I like the high-pitched stuff on occasion. I think Halford is the best voice in rock history.
  13. Reload is a very underrated album. (It's actually the album that originally got me listening to Metallica.) I'm not a big fan of St. Anger anymore, but I'll still listen to "Frantic" and "Shoot Me Again" anytime. The riff during "Ominous I'm in us" in Some Kind of Monster might be their best riff since the masters of Puppets album. Simple yet so very damn effective.
  14. So wait… Metallica’s St Anger is better than most excellent metal albums? I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to say. You heard right. Metal is treading water. Full of cookie monsters and twelve year olds with pretend-angst. St. Anger is raw. So raw it's shocking. It's Metallica's worst album but I can listen to it more than 95% of the crap that's being called metal nowadays. That said, it has better listenability than Kill 'Em All, to me. Great album, that KEA, but not so enduring.
  15. I can reset your post count to zero so you don't miss the 1000 mark a second time. Ahhh....you so funny!
  16. Easily...ha! What's this Countdown you speak of? Edit: post 1003? Missed a landmark...
  17. Not even a poor man's AoA... A damn good album period. They delivered the covers far more convincingly than most of the originals...except Attitude. I looooove I Don't Care About You. Worst part of that album is the terrible Charles Manson cover/secret song. Not because of Charles Manson, because it sucks. Count me among "most people" The pizza you are privy to because of geographical location? You don't know how good you have it, sir!
  18. You're gonna hit me for wishing a happy birthday? This is like George on Seinfeld with the "God bless you" thing. Watch out, Mike!
  19. Birth was good. Event Horizon I loved and still do to this day. Metallica's Load, Reload and St. Anger are all good albums (St. Anger the least good of the lot but a subpar Metallica album is still better than most excellent metal albums). I'm sure there's more...

    Episode 14

Thanks Ian! Wedding Party is hilarious until it takes a swing for the sobering. I probably wouldn't see it coming if I watched it again. Recommended. Dracula's Wedding is the best song on that whole double album. Rad chorus

    Episode 14

Sorry about the sound quality, folks. Next week will be all-fixed. In my Neo-Citran and Nyquil induced fever dream, I ended up recording through my computer's internal mic instead of my actual mic. Dumbass. Instead of delay the show I decided to run it. D
