  1. Just to help you guys out who have the game: Kenshi is unlocked by getting a key from a chest in the first area of Konquest Mode. Just go to the Krypt after getting the key and press R1 and it will automatically go to the grave where you can unlock him as a playable character. I also unlocked Jade, but I forgot what Krypt coffin hers is. It is one of the most expensive Jade Koin-opened tombs. Like 2,400 jade koins will open her coffin to make her a playable character, but I cannot for the life of me remember which one it is. :bang: I've also unlocked the Portal stage from MK2 and the Dead Pool from MK2. There is no stage fatality on the Portal, but on the Dead Pool, you can push them into the acid on any side of the arena. If anyone unlocks another character or arena, post it here. Help a brutha out, meng.
  2. Said it before and I'll say it again... Batman = my favorite movie ever.
  3. Ah, yes. Looking at the silhouettes of the characters I haven't unlocked, Liu Kang's is definitely one of them.
  4. Liu Kang is an unlockable??? Since when? And once I unlock Noob Smoke, I'll abuse the hell of their cheapness in VS. battles. EDIT: And another thing--this game succeeded in doing something I never thought possible.......making Ermac an awesome fighter. EDIT 2: SPOILERS??? . . . . . . . . . . Wait, is Liu Kang the "Mystery" guy?
  5. Wait, there are going to be THREE new Batman movies?!?! :OMG: :OMG: :OMG: My God, words cannot express how psyched I am about this movie. I hope Batman: Begins does well at the box office.
  6. What storyline do you think they will choose to do, though? Weapon X? Omega Red? Sabretooth? Yuriko? There's so many, pretty much any of them would be great.
  7. No man, go to http://www.superpatriot.net/monticello/ and use your old SP.net login info. You were wrong! Good to know. I like the darkening, but it seems to be blurring away some of the minor details.
  8. I thought the Morphorums were no longer functional? And in any case, I was under the impression that several people over there hate me for some reason.
  9. Oh, you DAMN right. I knew I'd have you backing me on this one. Although Ms Hellsing herself ain't half bad, just not my type. Too androgynous for me. I seriously didn't know through the first two episodes if she was male or female...
  10. Holy shnikees, Blane. I forgot about that. I'll try to get to drawing that cross for you ASAP. EDIT: Thanks for the positive words, peeps. I love you aaaaalllllll!!! The only problem is that the picture is MUCH darker and the flash bulb ruined some of that dark luster.
  11. I found my old portfolio of charcoal drawings from when I went to college in Kentucky 3 years ago. Here is one of them: The Ace of Spades is inside the skull's teeth and a bottle of poison is out to the side.
  12. I urge everyone to buy the DVD's of this series when they start coming out next month. This series is spectacular. I watched 3 episodes of it at Anime Weekend Atlanta and I was blown away. (It's also the series that my new favorite addictive game, Melty Blood, is based off of.) It is a story about a young man who, through an accident in his early years, is able to see the "Death Lines" inside any living object. If he cuts through these lines that are invisible to everyone else, the victim instantly dies. It's technically a vampire genre series, but in no way, is it your typical bloodsucking adventure. The storyline is very enthralling as are the characters. Check it out. I doubt you will be disappointed. It comes out on October 12th.
  13. I know... I could have slapped a long white beard on my face and looked like Fo from Battle Arena Toshinden.
  14. I didn't have enough money unfortunately and I don't get paid until Wednesday or Thursday.
  15. Well, the convention ended today. Now regular life sets back in and I'm depressed again.
  16. Which DVD, I ask because I am a big Darkstalkers fan. The Night Warriors: Darsktalkers' Revenge Alpha version. It has episodes 1 and 2 of the 4-part anime series that kicked so much ass. The main reason I bought it is because I plan on making an anime music video with clips from those 4 episodes. Anyway, today was alright. I entered two video game tourneys...and got thoroughly owned 3 times. No, not 2...THREE. I got destroyed in the PRELIMINARIES of the Smash Bros. Melee tournament and in the Melty Blood React tourney (that's a Japanese 2-D fighter), I won the first round, but got stomped in the second round and the loser's bracket. I was so pissed off. Just to paint a picture of how badly I was beaten in the MBR tourney, I played 13 total rounds in the two matches that I lost--I won ONE of those 13 rounds. God, it was pathetic. I didn't buy a blade today, but maybe tomorrow. Two dealers have these claw things called the Pantera. It's like a pair of brass knucks with Wolverine claws grafted on them. It's SO FUCKING AWESOME. If I can find a picture of it, I'll post it here. Tomorrow is the final day, and once again, I get sad that AWA has come and gone.
  17. I saw it at Best Buy yesterday. Judging from the looks of it, it doesn't seem to be anything special, but maybe I picked up the wrong thing. Still, I refuse to pay for Batman and Robin. That movie should burn in hell.
  18. I never get tired of seeing hot girls dressed up in skimpy anime costumes. I played Smash Bros. for like 4 hours today. Also, there was an AWESOME game called Melty Blood that I played on the game room PC. Seriously, this 2-D fighter is MARVELOUS. Unfortunately, it's only available in Japan. Bought: Initial D shirt, convention shirt, Darkstalkers' DVD. Tomorrow, I will make my decision on what awesome weapon I'm going to buy in the Dealer's Room. When I get it, I'll take a picture of it and post it here. Trust me, it's BAD. ASS.
  19. All of those movies are awesome, but Batman is my favorite movie of all time, so...
  20. What did everyone think of the 1990's animated Superman series? Overall, I liked it, though not as much as Batman. Dana Delany did a marvelous job as Lois Lane. My favorite episode of the entire series was the episode where a bomb was planted in Clark Kent's car that would cause him to careen over a mountain ledge. Obviously, the bomb had no effect on him since he's Superman, but if he went back to Metropolis, people would find out that the only way he survived that was because he was Supes. But anyway, at the end of the episode, the real culprit is convicted and sentenced to death in the gas chamber. As he sits waiting for his immenent demise, he wonders quietly to himself how Kent could have possibly survived that crash. Then, he figures it out (with bloodshot eyes and all): "He's Superman!" At the very moment of his epiphany, the gas chamber lever is pulled and the episode ends. It was so awesome.
  21. Situation: Doom is travelling through the cosmos for raw materials to build a giant disintegration cannon on Earth that will last forever. He happens upon Darth Vader's new Death Star. They fire upon his ship. So Doom, being the angry guy he is, plows his way through the legions of Stormtroopers inside the spaceship to Vader's room. They have a fight to the bloody death. Who wins?
  22. Three of my favorite days of the year are almost here. Hell, I bought my registration for this year's convention in December. I can't wait! I'll let you anime fans here know about all the cool shit I buy in the dealer's room, and watch in the video rooms this weekend. Hopefully, I'll win the Super Smash Bros. Melee tourney this year...
