  1. Great stuff, DJ. I LOVED Tower of Babel and this review put it better than I ever could have. I was shocked by the ending, but even though I side with Batman, it was understandable.
  2. Not to mention the fact that they haven't come up with an original idea for a potential breakthrough title in about 10,000,000 years. Everything they have is rehashes of prior big-name Nintendo titles. Mario, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, etc., etc., etc. Not to say that those games are bad because they aren't at all. However, they need to come up with something new and not just come out with a different Zelda game every two years. I own a GameCube, but I have one game. ONE. Super Smash Bros. Melee. That's it.
  3. Off the topic somewhat, does anyone have any Justice League Unlimited episodes taped? I STILL haven't seen an episode of it yet.
  4. Power Rangers were awesome up until after they killed off Lord Zed. The show as a whole, went SO FAR downhill into the shitter after that. Even though the special effects were hideously bad, I still loved the first two seasons. The Green Ranger 5-part mini-saga was the best part of any season and I doubt anyone will disagree with that.
  5. Mock Lambert if you must, but he was fucking awesome as Raiden. That jackass they got to replace him was beyond pathetic. Then again, as you and I both know, the second movie replaced everything the first movie had, including any semblance of a decent storyline.
  6. Oh, I'm sure you'll be camped out in front of the theatres for weeks waiting for it.
  7. My God...this game is going to FUCKING RULE.
  8. I just read that there's actually 350-plus episodes and six movies! Yeah, I knew about the six movies--I've done some eBay searching lately.
  9. Make it a poll and I'll tell you.
  10. Repeated character deaths and ressurections? Master Roshi constantly viewing porn? The live coverage and commentary on all earth-based fights, even if the combatants attempt to find a deserted island? Oh, JESUS, how did I forget the seemingly endless supplies of barren wasteland where the combatants can blast every friggin' thing in sight, which amounts to nothing more than a bajillion miles of nothingness???????
  11. Tokka and Rahzar were abominations. B & R take this one EASILY.
  12. Not to mention the hours upon hours of idiotic egotistical dialogue, the blank staring, the constant flashbacks to episodes past, etc. etc. etc. Please let me know if I left anything out of the "DBZ List of Regular Occurences".
  13. "Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle" and "Bart VS. the Space Mutants"--both are NES classics, I might add.
  14. My top 3? Batman Tombstone Batman Returns
  15. I have mine still, but they are scattered all over the place.
  16. This movie is going to bomb SO badly.
  17. This shit is hysterical.
  18. First off, I've seen the original Sailormoon series uncut and uncensored and it is major league ownage. It's made more for adults than children. Cartoon Network just butchered it and made it into a kiddy-oriented, puntastic crapfest at many points. But even still, I think it's really a great anime. Share the love here. Sailor Saturn was the best. She was so frail and yet, she could heal people by simply touching them. On the other side of the power spectrum, she could destroy the entire world by SPEAKING a mere three words--"Death Reborn Revolution". Talk about a bipolar case.
  19. The new show is barely above average. It has its moments, but not too many of them. The old show was INSANE AWESOME.
  20. Because I (whether fairly or unfairly) associate the nickname, "the Caped Crusader", with those horrendous Adam West shows and the Batman comics that were SO GODAWFUL back in the sixties and seventies.
  21. I only caught the second half, so I can't really give a fair grade to this show.
  22. The Dark Knight by 50,000,000,000,000 light years.
  23. Galactus can die. Read the friggin' Infinity Gauntlet saga for proof of this.
  24. I have some really old Sonic comics from the early 90's. They really are damn good comic books.
  25. HOLY CHRIST. I read in Newtype Magazine today that Detective Conan is STILL running with new episodes in Japan and that they are well over 400 EPISODES now. :twitch: :twitch: :twitch: Also, Cartoon Network only got 52 English dubbed episodes and they have shown all of them, so they are starting over sometime this week.
