  1. -Get a new phone. My Blackberry has a tracking ball and the thing gets on my freaking nerves.

-Try doing something crazy that I haven't done before. I'm not talking try Canadian Cuisine. I'm talking something like getting published, doing a podcast, relearning how to edit videos, learn to ride a bike. Just something I haven't done before that I think might benefit me as a person.

You have the curve, right? What's wrong with the ball? I like it better than the stupid touchscreen ball thingy they have on the newer models.

    Here are my goals:

    1) Now that I am in (better) shape, I want to stay in shape.

    2) Get that internship again, do something that is meaningful there, but not waste away my summer.

    3) Learn some more about the CMD prompt, Automator and maybe some basic code for programs.

    4) You know what? Lets be crazy. 52 new avatars, Just like Will.

    5) See my (extended) family more.

    6) Finish the school year with a 3.8 or higher.

  3. Happy Birthday, I had Grant Morrison make a cake for you but the cake started to be a metapastry about cake and at one point I think the Anti-Life equation started to manifest on it.

    Happy birthday!

    I got you a DVD.

    I already own the Director's Cut. :P

Happy Birthday! In a parallel universe, Evil Koete is PISSED that Thor: The Mighty Avenger just got picked up for it's 100th issue and is getting an animated series.

And has a mustache I'm sure.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!

Happy Birthday, previous host of the best spider-man podcast on net. Try to have a bunnyrabbiting great time!

  4. How do you know they are individually $25? Under the check out menu it simply says "Back to the Future: The Game"

I don't, but since it doesn't say I assume it'll be for every game.

After alittle research, I believe it is a one time buy. Lets make mention that it is also available on PS3, Mac and iPad according to the website.

  5. I had no idea there was a new game out. It takes place six months after the third movie. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd do the voices in it. It will be five chapters, and the first chapter is out now. Steam has it for 25.00 (22.49 for the holidays).

Marty McFly and Doc Brown return in a completely new Back to the Future adventure. Six months after the events of the third film, the DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously returns to Hill Valley - driverless! Marty must go back in time and get aid from a resistant teenage Emmett Brown, or else the space time continuum will forever be unravel...

    backtothefuturetheadven.th.jpg

Edit: Was wrong about Fox doing the voice, but the guy sounds exactly like him.

Man oh man, I need this. Or I think I do. The 25 gets you all the episode/chapters, right?

  6. A New Desk (Pics coming soon, this thing kicks ass. Only took 5 hours to build :) )

    And best of all:

    Are you ready?

ROCK 'EM SOCK 'EM ROBOTS :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:

Edit: Still have my to go to my mom's family, so I'll post any updates later.

  7. Hell must have frozen over, because I have a complaint against Apple. While trying to play any of my Dad's episodes of Rescue Me on my secondary monitor, I get the following message "This movie cannot be played because a display that is not authorized to play protected movies is connected. Try disconnecting any displays that are not HDCP authorized". So Apple is saying I can't play my legally purchased media, from my legally purchased laptop to my legally purchased monitor? Fuck you Apple, Its no longer 60/40 for movies, I'm going to the Pirate Bay for all of it now.

  8. Really? I've had the same adapter for 3 years now and it works perfectly. The whole installing a new kit with a aux and possibly a USB intrigues me. Would you be willing to share a link to the new kit you are going to purchase?

  9. A car radio that I can actually plug my ipod into. Gotta buy a whole load of BS to do this in my new car, which irritates me a little. Plus the car came manual-less, so I can't figure out how to change the radio presets to Radio four, I have to keep doing it manually. Why on earth my aunt set the thing to Radio 1 and four other abysmal stations is beyond me.

What car is it? There might be instructions online. And for the iPod, does the car have a casset player? There are very inexpensive iPod to Casset adapters on the marker.

  10. A date with that girl I've had a crush on since middle school.

That, Some Beats by Dre. Solo HD's product Red and some rock 'em sock 'em robots would be splendid. Oh and tickets to the rumored second Up in Smoke Tour would be lovely as well.

  11. The following discussion came from this picture titled "Every Batman Symbol Ever":

My favorite symbol is the middle one, that's from Batman Beyond. What a great show. And talk about a great character design?! That suit was straight up G!

    #33 to #12 - wulfdogkat (11/22/2010)

i loved that show, i saw the one with bane a week ago awsome

    #18 to #12 - Loppytaffy ONLINE (11/22/2010)

As the Joker said; 'the ears are too long and i miss the cape.'

    #66 to #18 - doug7172 ONLINE (11/23/2010)

    But its theatrical!

    #67 to #66 - Loppytaffy ONLINE (11/23/2010)

Kids are supposed to be Robin, Red Robin or in the very least Nightwing. You have to actually be talented and trained like a fucking marine to be Batman. Hence why Dick Grayson currently is.

    #68 to #67 - doug7172 ONLINE (11/23/2010)

Bruce didnt pick him, Terry volunteered for the role. Besides that, Terry has the chops (Being Bruce's son and all), but being Robin wouldnt keep the city in check as he would being batman. The city needs a batman, no matter how good that robin might be.

    #69 to #68 - Loppytaffy ONLINE (22 hours ago)

Damion is also Bruce's son, with Talia Al Ghul (yes, how to piss off your enemy; bang his daughter and get her knocked up, then train that kid to kick his ass), he is Robin V, he wasn't picked by bruce and is a terrible robin.

Bruce picks the kids he sees potential in, Dick Grayon the acrobat with orphan trauma, Jason Todd the street kid who knicked the wheels off the batmobile, Tim Drake the...er...oh, he figured out who Batman and Nightwing were. Stephanie Brown- robin IV, current batgirl/woman wasnt picked, she volunteered and Bruce hates her- says it all.

    #70 to #69 - doug7172 ONLINE (21 hours ago)

Woah woah woah, I'm totally out of it! When did Steph replace Tim? I though she died because of Tompkins! Terry has the heart of hero, knows that all life is valuable, and has the physical ability. Bruce originaly was not going to let him be batman, but to only let Terry avenge his father. After his heroics during that mission, Bruce saw Terry's potential and honored him by letting Terry take the mantle of Batman.

    #71 to #70 - Loppytaffy ONLINE (14 hours ago)

It's not Terry doing to physical stuff, it's the suit, and that was proven when that computer program took over it and Terry had the shit kicked out of him.

Steph was only robin was about a week while Tim was in Europe of something.

    #72 to #71 - doug7172 ONLINE (1 hour ago)

No dude, Terry did do the physical stuff. The suit let him fly, and protected him. Sure, it did boost his strength to a degree, but Terry was a fit dude. When we first met him, he was a wrestler (Wrestling is a tough sport, its all about endurance, strength and using your mind), all Bruce did was hone those skills and teach him some more fiting moves. In the episode where the computer took over, Terry lost because the suit used the paralyzing feature, so he couldnt move. But when Terry got out of the suit, he was able to beat it.

    #73 to #72 - Loppytaffy ONLINE (1 minute ago)

meh. I still don't like Terry. maybe it's cos batman needs a robin, and needs to have earned the right to be Batman. like Jean and Dick did. Not steal the suit and take three days to learn how.

I enjoyed the show but he also let his perosnal life get in the way and was ignoring advice from teh master bat about dos and donts of being the bat. tbh, he's a bit of a twat. I would cal him a dick, but that would insult Robin I/Nightwing/Batman III

Ok, so my question is, what is your stance? Did Terry deserve the mantel or not?

  12. It was Episode 406, Doug.

    ...How did I miss this?!

Edit: Wow, Just checked. I think my days on this site are numbered, I only post in Banter every once in awhile, don't check the main page, and don't listen to the podcast's anymore (Except for WFP, but I still haven't downloaded the newest episode).

  13. The 3DS is a handheld device, not a console. They need the next Wii.

Excuse my hyperbole. I only meant that the 3DS, by itself, will sustain the company very well until the next home console. The Wii sequel can wait another 1-2 years if need be.

    Here's the current data:

    vgcharts.jpg

(the handheld and home console bar graphs are separate, though it's not noted.)

The DS has already sold almost twice the number of units as the Wii, and it's only been out for a year longer. It'll be enough for now.

The iPod touch out sells the DS as a gaming device.
