  1. She was in the first three Superman films - Superman IV, I couldn't see it anymore. So yes she WAS, but she aged noticeably.

Didn't know the Pryor tidbit, especially given that she was hardly in the third film and shared no scenes with him. There's no reason to suppose that they ever met each other on that basis, so...gosh.

Pryor admits it in his autobiography.

My view is she was never hot. She may have been the best Lois Lane character wise, but not looks wise.

  2. Also Captain Lou Albano played Mario during the 80's or 90's for a live Mario TV show, or did a dance dressed as Mario.

The show you're referring too is The Super Mario Brothers Super Show, it ran from September of '89 to Dec of '89, but managed to get two seasons and managed to have 65 episodes.

    The show starred:

    Captain Lou Albano as Mario

    Danny Wells as Luigi

Jeannie Elias as the voice of Princess Toadstool, Shy Guy and Birdo

John Stocker as the voice of Toad, Koopa Troopa, Mouser, Flurry and Beezo

Harvey Atkin as the voice of King Koopa, Tryclyde and Snifit

I believe the live actors also provided the voices for the animated versions of their characters. But Capt. Lou Albano does dance and rap in the credit sequences(with Danny Wells joining him in the opening credits only).

The series was popular enough to spawn two sequels of sorts called The Adventures of Super Mario Brothers 3, which ran from Sept of 1990 to Dec of '90. this show had only one season, with 26 episodes and starred the voices of:

    Walker Boone as Mario

    Tony Rosato as Luigi

Tracey Moore as Princess Toadstool (Princess Peach)

John Stocker as Toad, Boomerang Bros, Fire Bros, Thwomp and Paragoombas

Harvey Atkin as King Bowser Koopa

Tara Strong as Lemmy "Hip" Koopa and Iggy "Hop" Koopa (credited as "Tara Charendoff")

Paulina Gillis as Wendy "Kootie Pie" Koopa

James Rankin as Larry "Cheatsy" Koopa

Dan Hennessey as Roy "Bully" Koopa, Angry Sun and Sledge Bros

Michael Stark as Ludwig "Kooky" Von Koopa

Gordon Masten as Morton "Big Mouth" Koopa Jr.

    Louise Vallance as Ptooey

    Ernie Anderson as Opening Narrator

Despite having one Season, Super Mario World still managed to get made, it ran for 1 season and had only 13 episodes. The time span was Sept of 91 to Dec of 91. This series starred the voices of:

    Walker Boone as Mario

    Tony Rosato as Luigi

    Andrew "Andy" Sabiston as Yoshi

Tracey Moore as Princess Toadstool (Peach)

John Stocker as Oogtar, Magikoopa, Monty Mole, and Charging Chuck

Harvey Atkin as King Bowser Koopa

Tara Strong as Lemmy "Hip" Koopa and Iggy "Hop" Koopa (credited as "Tara Charendoff")

Paulina Gillis as Wendy "Kootie Pie" Koopa

James Rankin as Larry "Cheatsy" Koopa

Dan Hennessey as Roy "Bully" Koopa, Green Dinosaur, and Purple Dinosaur

Michael Stark as Ludwig "Kooky" Von Koopa

Gordon Masten as Morton "Big Mouth" Koopa Jr.

All 3 series have been released on DVD, unfortunately it hasn't been released as a complete series set yet(only in Seasoned box sets), but features several hours of features. Super Mario World was released as Captain N and the New Super Mario World

The cartoon was fun at the time, but i watched an episode six months ago with my nephew and oh my god it sucked.

    It hasn't aged well.

  3. i know the film just came out, but does anyone know when the DVD will be released?

I've heard rumours of early November, but want a general idea, US or UK.

Also Tennant would be good as the riddler but I'd still want Hyde Pierce.

Also people are saying that Nolan and bale are just optioned for a third movie if they wanted to do it, is this true or my sources false.

I'm not sure if The Dark Knight will see the regular DVD release. If the film is still doing great, than the studio sometimes lets the film stay in theaters longer. But if the film is out of theaters in a week, it'll be out by Christmas time.

Tennant is a sell for me, simply because he looks like The Riddler, but how about Steve Buscemi(in the way he played in Con Air)?

I believe Christopher Nolan is optioned to do a 3rd one, but Bale is contracted to 3(which may be why he didn't do the voice in Batman: Gotham Knight, because that would be considered a 3rd film).

I think they will release it just before Christmas as that is the biggest time of year for DVD sales which are not on sale.

I don't see Buscemi playing a guy who says "I'm smarter than you, in fact I'm so smart. I'm going to leave you this box and a clue to where i am...."

Also theirs rumours that Johnny Depp is near being a lock as playing the riddler in the possible third movie.

Nolan better return, if not we may get someone like schumacher again.

    P.S I like Batman forever.

Now to go hang myself in shame

  4. In no way can that fact possibly be construed as fun.

it can be if the guy who made the cyanide pills went out and bought a bouncy castle with the money....

Also Captain Lou Albano played Mario during the 80's or 90's for a live Mario TV show, or did a dance dressed as Mario.

  5. I've always wonder this. Margot Kidders Lois Lane is loud, obnoxious and to me, she's just not nice looking.

So my question is: Did you ever think Margot Kidder was hot in the superman movies?

Extra note: did you know she was having an affair with Richard Pryor during superman III?

  6. i got the game the day i went to see the movie, and i thought it was OK. True i did complete it within a week and took it back for a full refund, you've got to love 28 day returns.

My main gripes are the sometimes shitty camera, the sequences you have to memorise and the early battles when you have to either slow down time at the right time or lose half your energy to your enemy's combo attack.

I played it on the 360 and again it's short but dammit when i took it back for a refund i felt proud, all those great achievement for nothing, yay.

  7. It'll probably be a written piece. I loathe the sound of my own voice.

Yeah, I have the Gameboy game around here somewhere. According to the official list on wiki, I'm missing Gotham City Racer, Rise of Sin Tzu, and Justice League: Chronicles, all of which should be easy enough to find.

Rise of sin tzu is a piece of shit.

The controls are crap, the levels look nice but after the third "save these people from the scarecrow" mission you'll want to ram your head off the floor then ask to get raped by a man named Norman.

I really hate Rise of Sin Tzu.

    Voices are cool though.
