Yeah, except when I'm audited at the end of the year and they see a student in English 12 who writes the following on an Of Mice and Men essay: I like Lennie because he likes rabbits. Rabbits are nice and I like to pet them too. I don't kill them though because that is sad.
I had class with people like those in high school. In fact, I still have classes with people like those at my university.
Was that the entire essay?
Also, my schedule this week can suck my non-existent dick.

Most of the people from the original roles are either not going to be interested in a TV remake of a movie from their earlier career, or are dead.
Honestly, I think there's a chance for a new generation of actors to do a decent job with these roles, but only if the actual plot is going to be even remotely like the original movie (and odds are it's not).

I mean, as several people have pointed out, this movie came out a good ten years ago. And odds are the TV show isn't going to have any relation to what made it so good in the first place.

'm not really sure why Bill Adama is reading Emily Dickinson. But, hey.
And just when you think they can't get any lower, they can. They really really can. Especially Gaeta. He's taken a really dark turn this half of the season that I was not expecting.
Though it's nice to see Roslin having her Rocky moment. And yay for them finally showing Roslin and Adama in bed together! (And now something horrible's going to happen. Because no one in this show can ever have happy things.)

Mike, you had a lot of the same opinions I did while trudging through the first book. (I read the first book just to have the sole ability to tear it using sources from the book. Been trying to make my way through the rest of the series, never have been able to stomach it)

My university, it is the fail and made of fucking frustration.
Basically, new schedule for fall term messes with our ability to earn money and internships over the summer, and then they're increasing tuition.
