I'm glad it's not an origin story, yes. But at the same time, I'm leery about whether or not it'll actually have any connections to the source material, with the way that it's worded. And that could just be me.

Seconded. Reading Angel: After the Fall has me really intrigued for what they could've done.
And no, Dollhouse isn't out yet, but the odds are Fox is going to fuck it over. As I understand it, they've already had to reshoot the pilot at least once, and it's getting shoved in a shit timeslot again.

Firefly.
Fox couldn't even be bothered to air the episodes in the proper order or give it a timeslot where it actually had a chance, and it only got through eleven of the fourteen episodes they shot. To top it off, the finale was the first two (chronologically) episodes.

Watched it.
If it were drawn in a different style and it weren't so preachy, I could get into this. It has an honestly good premise. It just isn't executed so well.
Also, did not like their take on Kitty and Rogue; both sounded incredibly whiny when they're not.
