DC always sucks at bringing back characters or creating new ones in the last decade or so. Even if they do do it right, there will always be the crappy current Batman or Superman story.
Yes, and Marvel never publishes crappy current Wolverine stories.
That's because everyone wants to fuck Wolverine. Do the recent Spider-Man comics work well? I have only been buying Spider trades so I can't quite say if he's that great right now, but I think he still is.

The fundamental point here is that you've failed to realize that Dubs likes things that are not good.
Well it is hard to like one writer so much now, I mean the super hero comics industry can make a lot of shit.
-
What are you basing that on? For every recently failed DC book you name, someone can easily name a doomed Marvel comic. Furthermore, Marvel tends to quickly cancel low-selling books, whereas DC sticks with a comic for a while. Manhunter, Blue Beetle, and The All New Atom lasted a lot longer than they would have at Marvel.
Marvel kills things quicker because they have better things they can be doing. DC just sticks with the stuff longer because they kind of suck. DC always sucks at bringing back characters or creating new ones in the last decade or so. Even if they do do it right, there will always be the crappy current Batman or Superman story. I'd say that generally Marvel keeps their most popular characters with good stories. And if they get some bad new series, they kill them off sooner and don't reuse them anytime soon, when DC would not kill them off that soon and they would reuse them not that much farther into the future.

Were
Green Arrow and Black Canary ever in a relationship
in the Silver or Golden Age of DC Comics?

Marvel is better than DC. DC can have writers that make characters hard to do again because a series might fail.
Yes. Because only DC can have series that fail.
Sarcasm? It happens more with DC. And when it does happen with DC its because thee series is always actually bad. And it may just be a lot of the stuff I read from them, but it seems like they mostly have the writers that make the characters be hard to do again.
-
Just because most of his work is from DC doesn't mean that you can only compare his writing with that of writers who have written a majority of their work at DC.
Marvel is better than DC. DC can have writers that make characters hard to do again because a series might fail. And maybe there are many characters you can further develop, its still genius that GM can revamp characters greatly and make them better, or just make great stories for them when their not even in trouble. Not a whole lot of DC writers can be that perfect, but that is how they should try to be.
In Marvel, there can be problems with characters and their series, but most of the time their names still stand out enough and they still get bought, especially if GM writes them (which he hasn't ever done a lot of stuff for Marvel).

I know that Grant Morrison wrote for Marvel, but I believe most of his best work was for DC and I believe the book people were discussing a little earlier by him is a DC. Plus I'm not saying I am actually that huge of a fan of his I just believe what his fans say, and I further agree to all that whenever I read more of his stuff. I believe GM is the best in the non-Marvel world, either that or the second best at least.

Seattle is not the cause of this movie being shit, nor is it because Ivy is from there. The reasons that this movie suck are on a completely other level. By your logic, any character originating in Seattle would produce a bad film. No. Logic does not work that way.
There wasn't much I was trying to get at, and that definitely wasn't it. I just found that stupid and weak connection while typing the post.
-
Whatever the hell your post was about.
Ivy is from Seattle (Proof). Seattle is the way I said it was. This movie is a pile of shit.

Also, who said anything about paying? *is a horrible horrible pirate*
Your stealing money from those poor singers (including Neil Patrick Harris).

What do you disagree with?

I just can't agree with those that believe he's one of the best comic writers in the world.
People probably say that because its hard to say anyone else has that status.
Geoff Johns
Robert Kirkman
Warren Ellis
Garth Ennis
Brian Michael Bendis
Alan Moore
Neil Gaiman
James Robinson
Brian K. Vaughan
Ed Brubaker
I'm not even a huge fan of all of the above, but to say he has no competition is absurd.
I bet me, Koete, and many other people out there can list hundreds of reasons why many (don't worry I am not saying all) of those people aren't better than Grant Morrison.
EDIT: Okay maybe not hundreds of reasons. Plus some of those names should be crossed out because the discussion has slightly been focused on GM, which means the writers in this world for this discussion should only be ones that mostly stay in the boundaries of non-Marvel writing. Anyways, Marvel puts a few too many more writers on your list.

After watching this movie I decided to learn more about Poison Ivy since I didn't actually know much about her. I found out that she's from Seattle, and its kind of interesting because people here in Seattle are actually really pro-environment. Many Seattleites are very tree hugger and many of them have bio-diesel cars with bumper stickers that fully remind everyone that they have a bio-diesel and that their all for green. Seattle has found many ways to be snobbish by finding ways to go green. All of our professional sports teams have had green as one of their team colors.
Though many fanboys out there probably love Poison Ivy's character, but her creation created this pile of shit called a movie and her pro-environment extremist character was able to be created because she was raised in Seattle, Washington.

To me, the soundtrack isn't a good buy. It doesn't have a lot of songs, and a few of them are really short. There are about eight songs and one of them is just the 30 second theme song for the show.
It would be cooler if it was a two-disc set, one of the discs would be a DVD with the episode and a commentary/interviews with the voice actors and creators. The the other disc would be a CD with the soundtrack. Plus, there could be a thing like with most DVDs where you can the digital copy, except with this it would be for just the episode and the soundtrack from iTunes, or from Windows Media Player.
Just realized something, this Batman The Brave And The Bold episode really reminds me of that Batman Beyond one:
Remember the "superstitious, cowardly lot"? Too bad that line wasn't in this Music Meister episode.
-
Though Batman Forever was not as awful as this movie, I feel like your guys' review of Forever kind of made it sound like it was a worst movie than this one. Sorry, but the review of Forever is my favorite episode of the year.
-
What is that from?
By the way, did the show make up Music Meister like they did with Equinox or is he based off someone like the Fiddler.
EDIT: Just got what the picture was all saying (awesome, mocking/mixing pop, comic, and cartoon culture). Never mind about Music Meister's creation, I found out who he is in the comics from looking at that picture. Apparently in the DCU, when Michael Jackson's skin started to change (he also became a ginger) he developed the power to control people from his singing. And during the Blackest Night 2009 comic event, he used his powers to control Black Lanterns and make them help him do the Thriller music video.
DOUBLE-EDIT: Except that my idea of Blackest Night and MJ doesn't match the timeline of our universe, since MJ's skin changed and Thriller was made way before the people of DC have started Blackest Night, and Thriller was made before MJ's skin changed.

Bane has been in Batman: The Brave And The Bold. He was in the teaser for the "Menace of the Conqueror Caveman!" episode.

Blackest Night?
Their probably bringing back Sherlock to comics because of the movie in December.
Sort of realized there isn't much WildStorm discussion, so I thought this might be a good idea for a thread.

Really great job Mike and DW!

How could I dress up as Mr. Freeze?
Take a fishbowl, place it upside-down on your head, then use black masking tape or rubber rings to seal the bowl airtight around your neck.
Don't worry about the blue face makeup or the red eyes; those'll come naturally.
Thanks:
