RSS
Since it's been so long between recordings, this episode Damien and Desmond spend the whole time catching up. Topics include bad celebrity impersonations, guitar strings, music-based video games, metal album appearances, and the sobering reality of raves that Hollywood doesn't want you to know about. There is also an epic-length, four-part tangent that devolves into perhaps history's greatest recorded conversation about Bootsy Collins. And what exactly strikes Damien speechless and causes Desmond to apologize? You'll have to listen. Oh yeah! The guys also review the Nine Inch Nails double concept record The Fragile. Missy
I can no longer say "absolutely" without giggling to myself.

Guest
I remembered where the story came from. It was Chris Jericho's book. Excerpt from a review of the book describing the incident. And there was a big-time "Meta" moment for me early on when Jericho talks about striking out while meeting Arnold Schwarzenegger, with Chris being all school-girly around him and Ahnold responding to every question and statement with "ABSOLUTELY!" It was surreal for me to read because when I was nine-years-old, the movie Kindergarten Cop was filmed at my school, Astor Elementary in Astoria, Oregon. Arnold was a total asshole who did everything he could to avoid being around the students, but a friend and myself somehow managed to get close enough to talk to him."Do you like our city?"Absolutely."Will you film the sequel here?"Absolutely."Can we have your autograph?"Absolutely. Rjoyadet
I just re-watched Godzilla: Final Wars and would not be surprised if the composer got inspiration from The Fragile. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ULLzIilatY
