Missy
SPOILER AHEAD YOU WERE WARNED! Not only does this image imply that Bruce will adopt Tim (and could explain why Grant Morrison forthcoming run is entitled "Batman & Son"), but it also reveals that Superboy will die during or shortly after IC. This is a huge blow to the DCU. As of late, he's been one of their best characters, and it stinks that they're going to kill him after spending the last few years building him up the way they have. But there could be a Superbaby in the future. In Teen Titans Annual, Cassie (Wonder Girl) and Conner had sex for the first time. So she could wind up raising his baby... which would lead to a new Superboy down the line.

ANOTHER SPOILER. Superboy doesn't die after Infinite Crisis - he dies in battle with Superboy Prime in Infinite Crisis #6. He does manage to save the universe in doing so. I thought the way it was handled was very well done. There's nothing to say Connor can't be brought back to life, either.
Missy
How did he lose his right hand? Superboy Prime did break it; that was clear. But on the very last page, it looked like it was gone. Like it was cauterized, too. And there are legal reasons neither Superboy will be brought back... least not as Superboy. Rumor has it one of the Superboys might reappear with the name Supernova.

So that's who they'll choose! I realize this thread is old but the Batman and Son arc will close up that dangling plot thread of Batman and Talia al Ghul's son from Batman: Son of the Demon. It's one of my favourite Batman stories! You should check it out.
Missy
Yeah. Meant to come in here and mention that. Oh well. Still wish it would be about Bruce and Tim, however.
Luke
It's a shame that the character was killed off. I loved the way he was used during Reign of the Supermen.
