Venneh
I am allowed to ponder the patent irony in working an eight hour shift on Labor Day. xD Also, last day of eleven-day ninety-four hour workathon (actually only 10 days with Thursday off, really, but still)! KnightWing
Debating between dressing as The Mad Hatter or The Riddler for Halloween. A friend of mine was planning on dressing as "Wonka Joker." It's exactly like it sounds.
Molly
Funny, the little woman and I are going as "gangster" (twenties, not Ghetto) Harley and Joker.
KnightWing
CRAP. Now I almost feel bad about selling my 360. I have to keep reminding myself that it's not worth an entire $300 console just for one game franchise. >_< But it's so pretty...

dc20willsave
I don't much care for Freshmen. Everyone, take Will's advice and take enough AP classes in High School that you can skip your Freshmen year of college.
Venneh
But irregardless of how many credits they get, they will still be freshmen when they arrive on campus; first time away from home, on their own, etc. You can't get rid of the freshmen demeanor in general, but they can adjust quicker if they make friends with the older ones. dc20willsave
True that. My freshman roommate was a sophomore so I was never quite all Freshmanny. Then again, I read college prep book most of my senior year of High School and moved on campus a week prior to the beginning of classes so as to get the lay of the land. Could have been worse. Could have a demon for a roommate who wanted to eat my soul. Mine just made me an uber-geek.

dc20willsave
Wait, they didn't have freshmen move in earlier than the upperclassmen for orientation by you? They did. Correction, I moved in a week before the majority of the other Freshmen.
Molly
I recently started my fifth undergrad year, and I've noticed something. Each class seems stupider, whinier and less capable of being an adult than the one that preceded it. I don't know if it's good old fashioned misanthropy, or an actual decline in humanity. Venneh
Clearly, it's both. I noticed it more in high school than I did in college.

That sounds rather odd, actually. I've noticed just the opposite.

dc20willsave
Looking at two of the contestants for this season of The Amazing Race's picture, I thought they were either brother or both gay.
