JackFetch
Sorry "Las Vegas" fans, your show won't be getting a proper finale. Turns out, last Friday's episode was actually the last new one you'll ever see. TV Guide says: Sources confirm to me exclusively that NBC has opted not to renew the show for a sixth season. Consequently, last Friday's episode? Yep, that was the series finale. Hope it was satisfying! NBC had hoped this season's cast shake-up — Thomas Magnum replacing Sonny Corleone — might re-energize the show, but instead, it led to a double-digit ratings decline. Of course, the Friday time slot didn't help. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/tvnews.php?id=42250 Damn it! I love that show.

J Marv
A shame, was wondering why Dateline was on tonight in its timeslot. I'm not sure what kind of ratings they expected after replacing two major characters. I'm also not sure what they'd do for a finale, I mean, they've already blown up the hotel and had the owner "blown" off of a roof...how do you top that? I really wished they hadn't have left a major hanging thread with the status of the casino ownership, though. Can't blame producers though, they didn't know the show would be cancelled after a shortened season.
annericelover
What they should do is make a Two hour finale in a movie form. This will end the series properly, it deserves that. I have a feeling that Ed Deline would have made a return during Season 6, at least in a cameo. His character was just hiding out, not dead.
