RSS
Stop me if you've heard this one: FOX approves a quirky, unusual show. They receive the accolades and good press that comes with taking a chance on such a show. About six months before the show is scheduled to air, FOX begins to inundate you with promos, airing them relentlessly, until even the mother of the show's producer is sick of looking at them. The show finally airs, at which point the emergency brake is thrown on the hype machine, and any promotion for the show comes to a sudden and immediate halt. The network may very likely move the show to another night without letting anyone know. After perhaps half a season in the Friday Night Death Slot the show is cancelled. Aaron Robinson
God, I wished they aired this in Australia (maybe they did at some point in a late night slot, it’s hard to say). I really liked what I saw of the series on Youtube, and I remember enjoying the cartoon as a kid. Definitely a fun read.

Guest
It's so hard to believe that the guy that played Batmanuel is now so different (but still awesome) on LOST. Another great, funny piece from Mr. Toland.
Stavros
I'll always remember that precious weekend with an illegal DVD copy of this show that my brother borrowed. Happy days...
Dan
Thanks, guys. Incidentally, the whole series is available to watch for free on hulu.com.
