Missy Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Huge congratulations, Des! Not only have you hit the big 5-0, not a single episode was late! Quote
Missy Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 YAY for Dark City making the list! More thoughts later. Quote
slothian Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Congratula-mations Des! Will listen through it at work tomorrow as I'm busy slaving over Thursday's For Your Ears Only (SHILL~!) at the moment, but I'm looking forward to it muchly! Quote
Guest Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 Much congrats. Giving this a listen tomorrow. Quote
Guest Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Agreed 1000% on the Exorcist. Not scary in the least. That Lovecraft band is greatness. There were actually a bunch of things on the list I've never seen or heard of. A great all around episode BUT I strongly disagree on one thing. Audition is absolute shit. It is perhaps the most overrated "horror" movie in the history of cinema. Quote
Dread Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Wow...that background music is loud. Sorry about that. Took ages to put this epi together and I guess I skipped some key points in playback. Audition rules. Quote
Guest Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 When I come back.. Audition debate. Consider yourself challenged. Quote
Missy Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 Yeah, there was one point early on where the background music really overpowered your voice. Quote
Dread Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 When I come back.. Audition debate. Consider yourself challenged. Oh! It's on. Quote
Brother D Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Hey Des . . . A couple of things . . . 1) You rock. 2) Dread Media rocks. 3) You rock. Okay, that's three things. 50 episodes is one helluvanaccomplishment, my friend. NICELY DONE. And I absolutely LOVED what you did with this 50th episode. A Personal Horror Top 50? I'm so stealing this idea to run something similar on my blog at some point . . . Some very obvious selections, and some that weren't quite so obvious. Even 50 episodes into your show, we still got to learn a little bit more about our favorite Des. Nice work . . . Quote
Missy Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Even 50 episodes into your show, we still got to learn a little bit more about our favorite Des. Mmmhhh. I don't know. I still think Desmond Doomsday is my favorite Des. Quote
