Guest DCAUFan1051
I'm starting this because #1 I will be taking pics of everything within the Bond set so that the people who don't have it or refuse to buy it see what they're missing out on And #2 because FYEO wouldn't be the same without a Big Boxset Thread. If anyone has it and wants to comment on it please do. If no one knows this set just compiled all the Ultimate Editions that were released previously. I'm a huge fan of the Brosnan Era Bond and see if you can notice something about the Disc Art Pics I've posted . And if you noticed it yay... there's no prize for doing so MUH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Also I tried my damnedest to not have glare but there might be a little. One thing I have a MAJOR problem with though is the fact that they didn't box the movies in the release date order :fight: :grumble: lol I'm puuting Casino Royale Here because I took the pic before getting into the sets themselves: Ultimate Edition Volume 1: Goldfinger Diamonds Are Forever The Man With The Golden Gun The Living Daylights The World Is Not Enough Ultimate Edition Volume 2: Thunderball The Spy Who Loved Me A View To A Kill License To Kill Die Another Day Ultimate Edition Volume 3: From Russia With Love On Her Majesty's Secret Service Live And Let Die For Your Eyes Only GoldenEye Ultimate Edition Volume 4: Dr. No You Only Live Twice Moonraker Octopussy Tomorrow Never Dies
annericelover
Are these releases(outside of the Bronsan and newer films)special edition releases with more than one disc if that is how the indivisual films are released? And how much did you pay for this? If you don't mind me asking?

And how much did you pay for this? If you don't mind me asking? I dunno..... after Casino Royale was released on DVD obviously as far as a release date. Basically what they did was take each individual Ultimate Collection Volume and compile them into one boxset. If your asking about the original single disc release of say Goldeneye then yes these discs have more on them. Especially the older Bond films there are NEVER before seen features on them. As far as price my mom took me shopping I think it was my 28th or 27th birthday I forget, at the time the only place I'd ever seen the collection was at best buy it was around $225.00 after tax

It might be better though, you know after a new Bond film is made and released on DVD they retool the previous box set to add 1 or 2 more disc for the new film. Pretty soon they will start releasing indivisual Bond collection going with the actors who played Bond The Sean Connery Collection The Roger Moore Collection The Pierce Bronson Collection and so on... Guest DCAUFan1051
True but still.... this collection is by far the best at least out of the bond DVD's I've seen. Granted as I said they had released the Ultimate Editions as four individual volumes but combining them and the 2 Disc Edition of Royale into one package was freakin cool. It's all 21 films in one place. As far as retooling to add in the current Solace DVD and future films i dunno most likely they will to make more $$, but I'm very happy with this. I look at it this way if you take a TV show say the Cosby show which had 9 seasons.... 9 DVD sets at say $40 a piece that's $360 without tax for all 9 individual seasons. Then they released the 25th Anniversary Collection which is basically a Complete Series set of The Cosby Show... I think I only paid after tax $245.00 for that set. So basically what I'm saying is that it's worth the wait in getting them. I know me saying that is contradictory considering I want everything right now lol But when it comes to big sets like that they always include more then was in the original sets. They've already started doing that. Before I bought the boxset (on sale for £75), I had bought the Sean Connery collection that collected all of his official entries to the Bond franchise. Each film has 2 discs and the bonus material is pretty good throughout - I've yet to be disappointed by the additional content.

Oh yeah I remember seeing those in stores before the big box
