The director of the opening sequence in Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will helm an adaptation of theAvatar Press franchise for Legendary Pictures, reports Deadline. Gravel centres around the titular grizzled SAS combat magician who employs magic to combat supernatural threats to Britain. Ellis is attached as executive producer, with Rick Alexander and Legendary producing. Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell are working on the screenplay.
