In this mishmash, last-minute episode of Dread Media, Desmond Reddick goes solo on an impromptu Roadkill Review of theatrical indie film Paranormal Activity, then sits down with Darryll to discuss Happy Birthday to Me. Michael David Sims comes back to the show to discuss The Anchor #1 from BOOM! Studios, and Desmond looks at the disturbing but vacant art film American Gothic. All that plus the following terror tunes: "When the Lights Come On" by Deadbolt, "Happy Death Day" by GWAR, "I'm Gonna Kick Your Ass" by The Moistboyz, "Down on the Farm" by Guns N Roses, and "By Demons Be Driven" by Pantera. • 2 weeks later...

I checked out Paranormal Activity a few weeks back and enjoyed it, but had the most interesting reaction to it. While watching it I was never really frightened, although it did have me on the edge of my seat every time the lights went out. Then I went home... To a dark and empty house. I didn't get to sleep until well after two in the morning, because I was AFRAID TO GO TO SLEEP!!!

I tip my hat to the film and look forward to snagging a DVD copy of it at some point in the future.
