RSS
Des and Mike round out 2009 by discussing DC Comics' forthcoming graphic novel line. Not only do they examine the price point and format, but they also toss out a few ideas they'd love to see DC run with. SuaveStar
This episode should have been called Reddick and Sims: The original graphic novel. Anyway, Des, I thought you disliked the current Doom Patrol comic?
Dread
I read the first issue and did not like it. That's right. Didn't I say I liked it all up "until Byrne's run"? Maybe I didn't. I dunno.
Guest
Haven't responded because I've been trying to think of what I'd want to see. No particular order. Arkham Asylum by Steve Niles and Scott Hampton Power Girl: The Earth-Two Years by Gail Simone and Amanda Conner Riddler by Ed Brubaker and Sean Philips The Rogues by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis Martian Manhunter by Peter Tomasi and Doug Mahnke
Koete
At the top of my want list is Green Lantern: Earth One by Grant Morrison and Pasqual Ferry.
Koete
I'd like to see a Grant Morrison New Gods graphic novel too, except with art by J.G. Jones. A 120 page graphic novel of Gene Colan art? If only the clock could be turned back a couple years, because that would be the most gorgeous book of the decade. Another on my want list: a sequel to Cooke's DC: The New Frontier.
KnightWing
At the top of my want list is Green Lantern: Earth One by Grant Morrison and Pasqual Ferry. Make that a "Tales of the Green Lantern Corps" by Grant Morrison and Pasqual Ferry, and we're in agreement.

Molly
Morrison on the New Gods. Gail Simone on the Earth-1 Wonder Woman (with Amanda Conner on art) Jimmy Palmotti on a Weird Western Tales sort thing. Oh, I want Mignola drawing Dr. Fate, like yesterday, too. I'm sure more will come to me.
Dread
Arkham Asylum by Steve Niles and Scott Hampton The Rogues by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis Martian Manhunter by Peter Tomasi and Doug Mahnke I love these, though I would take David Hine and Jeremy Haun on Arkham too with the great work they're doing on the mini right now. At the top of my want list is Green Lantern: Earth One by Grant Morrison and Pasqual Ferry. I like the cut of your jib. Brian Azzerello on The Question. I'd prefer Denny O'Neil and Denys Cowan. Morrison on the New Gods. Jimmy Palmotti on a Weird Western Tales sort thing. Oh, I want Mignola drawing Dr. Fate, like yesterday, too. I'm alright with all of these. Put DeZuniga on WWT art and you've got a definite sale!
SuaveStar
Grant Morrison doing Wonder Woman with Ethan Van Sciver. He's said, he'd like to play with the character, and it would be nice to see Morrison tackle the trinity in three worlds, Batman-regular, Superman-All Star and WW in OGN. It was also stop people worrying about him f-ing up Wonder Woman. And Van Sciver is a fan of WW, Quitely my other artist choice, simply because it's Quitely. Koete
Wonder Girl (the adventures of Diana when she was a kid) With a title like that, only Fred Hembeck could do it.
