Dread
Kevin Smith's Green Hornet is running 6 issues too long.
Koete
I set 'em up and you hit them.
Missy
Last night I was listening to Word Balloon, and Phil Hester said that Smith's run is 10 issues. However, the series will continue beyond that without Kevin Smith.
Koete
I stand corrected.
Koete
I think I'm going to pick up the Frankencastle trade. Sure, it's way off the beaten path for the Punisher, but a bunch of Marvel monsters and Tony Moore art? Sounds like a blast to me.
Missy
Keep in mind, the Frankencastle storyline will continue. In fact, I'm pretty sure the book is being renamed Franken-Castle (with the hyphen) with #18.
SuaveStar
Green Hornet is a book that will sell just for Smith's name. Shame that it sounds utter shit, and makes you wonder what Smiths movie would have been like. Also, I thought it was based just on his script, and he wasn't writing it? Stavros
I think I'm going to pick up the Frankencastle trade. Sure, it's way off the beaten path for the Punisher, but a bunch of Marvel monsters and Tony Moore art? Sounds like a blast to me. Its actually quite fun, I've been reading it. The villain is right out of Hellboy.
Koete
DAMN. Green Hornet #1 had 54,000 copies ordered.
Dread
#2 had nine.
Koete
32,000 actually. Quite a drop there.
Dread
Talk about selling a book on name alone...the apologists will probably love it and good for them. I'll save my money for comics that don't suck.
Missy
Sigh. So in Green Hornet #3: Britt Reid dies.
Dread
Of course he did. That flake-ass kid character he created had to have something happen to him.
