With the Aussie away on holiday, Damien is joined this episode by Animazing Podcast's Kellen Scrivens to discuss the top five games they would each want in their dream arcade. Amidst talks of curling, Celine Dion, and other assorted Canadianisms, the guys still manage to pay loving tribute to the halcyon days of yesteryear, with memories so vivid that you'll practically feel the gum sticking to the bottom of your shoes. And oh yes, there will be singing! [ 54:42 || 25.4 MB ]

I remember once when my folks took me to Vegas as a young lad they gave me a bucket of quarters and left me in one of the casinos arcades and I played the hell out of the X-men arcade game. Nearly beat the thing, but man was I tired.

If memory servers right, I recall seeing the racing room you spoke of. I remember seeing at least 8 racing style games lined up in front of massive screens and an announcer. I was tempted to do that except it seemed to be too complex of a system for me to try and get into it.

And right as I was thinking "They won't mention DDR" BAM! You guys started talking about! That was awesome! There seems to be that fine line in the gamer community of people who love/hate DDR. I felt like I had to hide my love of the DDR when I worked at Gamestop.

Another glorious episode!

If there's ever an Earth-2 album, I demand that we have Kellen's complete cover of "Can't Get You Out of My Head."

Also, I had "Butterfly" in my head all day yesterday. That's two episodes of Extra Lives in a row that I had to hear horrendous music. I'm just so happy there aren't any bad Startropics tunes.
