  1. There was a 12-issue follow-up to Old Man Logan called Dead Man Logan.
  2. Please check Update 6 (above). The re-uploads are in process, but not everything will be ready until this weekend.
  3. Which State/Province do you live in/come from? My parents are from Chicago and Cicero, one of the city's suburbs. When my mother was pregnant with me, they moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Shortly as I was born, they moved back to the Chicagoland area, where I've lived ever since. What makes your state special/different to others? Illinois has a superiority complex, while Chicago has an inferiority complex. Chicago is often called The Second City, because for nearly a century we had the second largest metropolitan population -- behind New York City. This has led to a sort of feeling that we're always playing catch-up to other cities, especially New York City and now Los Angeles. As you noted, people outside of the US traditionally only think of New York and LA, and this is, in part, because our news media often skips over the Midwest -- especially Chicago -- when it covers national stories. Examples would be the recent Black Lives Matter protests and COVID-19 coverage. Very little was said of Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Detroit, and Chicago. That said, Illinois sees itself as an island of the Midwest, in that we are a Democrat (RE: blue) state in a sea of Republican (RE: red) states. This can give us -- especially those in Chicago -- a somewhat snobby outlook regarding the region. However, if Chicago were to ever flip red, so would the state. Southern Illinois is deeply red-leaning. And this often causes much frustration between those living in the city and those living deeper west and south in the state. What local foods is your state known for? Chicago-style pizza (RE: deep dish) Chicago-style hot dogs Dipped Italian beefs (the sandwich is 100% dunked in the beef juice) Harold's Chicken Shack The hero that is Tamale Guy Garrett Popcorn What special buildings do you have? Willis Tower (née Sears Tower) was the tallest building in the world for a few decades. (Depending on when you present this information, the building name might have changed again due to it being sold.) Wrigley Field, where The Cubs play Soldier Field, where The Bears play Macy's (née Marshall Field & Company) is an architectural masterpiece which people visit from around the world. They used to put up amazing displays in the windows around Christmastime, which would then draw people to The Walnut Room at the very top of the building.
  4. Villain Team: Brotherhood of Evil (Teen Titans cartoon) It's not that they're the best supervillain team ever, but they get shit done in the fifth season of Teen Titans. And Glenn Shadix's acting as The Brain is quite chilling. Dream Team-Up: Star Trek: The Next Generation / Superman As a gag, Mister Mxyzptlk sends Superman to the 24th Century, where he meets the Enterprise D crew. Superman quickly figures out that Mxy is now going by Q, but that's no matter because Picard & Co. must team with Superman to bring down the Darkseid / Romulan combo. Hero Team: Young Justice (cartoon) Unlike the Teen Titans, which has a set roster, this is a massive unit (oh my!) that can be broken off into smaller squads for maximum efficiency. As the show progresses, characters mature, age out, die, and change alliances. There's a legacy to these heroes that's rich, and grows them out of the sidekick shadow and into superheroes of their own making.
  5. Listening to Ian describe wrestling, especially the antics of Team RECK, opened my eyes to how weird wrestling is. I mean, I've known that since I was a teenager, but hearing it spoken about so matter-of-factly made me pause and think, "What even is wrestling?" It's truly one of the best yet strangest forms of entertainment out there.
  6. So. As @Dread pointed out on Twitter, B&T3 will be released on August 21, 2020. Which: August = 8 +21 +20 +20 =69, Dudes!
  7. They dropped the trailer on June 9. Or, 6/9. "69, dudes!" That is next-level marketing.
  8. Congrats on reaching episode 666, Des! Still only about 1/3 of the way through, but this is a great show!
  9. Ooh! "Vintage" is a hard pill to swallow.
  10. The other day I was speaking about property values with my mother-in-law.
  11. That's a shame about Spectacular, 'cause that is easily the best Spidey cartoon I've seen.
  12. Nah, it won't remove 665. That won't happen until 666 is posted on Monday.
  13. Size wise, that's a good call: 6'4" and a solid 400 pounds. Also, Kingpin.
  14. Thank you, everybody, for your kind words of support and immense patience. An audio update has been posted in the Earth-2.net: The Show, Bigger on the Inside, The Edge of Forever, and 12 Minutes to midnight RSS / iTunes feeds. (http://earth-2.net/theshow/episodes/pau_01.mp3) Basically, all of the RSS feeds of the shows I co-host. If you would like me to post it in your feed as well, I will gladly do so. (I didn't want to presume to add content / updates to your streams without permission.)
  15. The upper-level techs are of the mind that I'm using their servers to simply backup files, which is against their TOS. When I explained what Earth-2.net is to a mid-level tech, he was sympathetic and relayed that info to the upper-level team. Sadly, they would not budge because of the TOS. They also didn't like that the MP3s are "called back to" via RSS feeds, because it "puts a strain on the servers." To which I said, "But that's how podcasts work." Still, no budging. As noted in one of the updates, I truly believe they were trying to get me to jump to another tier. They've done it before, but I wasn't having it this time.
  16. Please check Update 5 (above), especially if you have / had a podcast on Earth-2.net.
