  1. So I got through about 90% of all the segments I intend to listen to. And, well. Fuck. That actually happened. Holy shit.
  2. Big goddamn same. The guy's voiceover talent is damn near unmatched in my opinion, and what he did in The Last Jedi carried a movie with some of the best acting in the series.
  3. My initial thoughts: Episode 0.01: It's an awesome way to kick off the proceedings. Episode 0.02: I don't listen to Questions, so this is probably a good backdoor pilot. Plus, the discussion is interesting. Episode 0.04: Hey, it's the Green Hornet. Episode 0.05: . . . . . this shit actually happened? Episode 0.07: 1) Damn you, Ackerman, and damn you, the inferior Wilson. 2) If I coulda, I woulda covered the movie too. Episode 0.08: I gotta read Archie vs The Punisher now. Episode 0.09: It was really cool listening to this one. Episode 0.10: I will be forever incredibly self-critical of myself, and this is no exception. Episode 0.13: Again: This happened? Episode 0.15: It's impressive that half these cartoons even happened.
  4. John Wick, easily. Constantine may have one of my favorite Peter Stormare performances, but that doesn't make up for everything else.
  5. My first time going to the site was on May 1st, 2010. I've been here eight years. That's kinda thrown a lot of things into sharp relief.
  6. If my calculations are correct, you would've been 16 when I was born. In all seriousness, happy birthday, Mike.
  7. That's both kinda amazing and not at the same time.
  8. The Matrix: It hasn't aged super well, now has it. Films Watched: 13
  9. Smokey and the Bandit: Now that's some fuckin' fun right there. Films Watched: 12
  10. When the Countdown episodes of The Show first started, I believe I would almost start high school. I'm going to be graduating college in May. Help. Edit: Got my dates wrong. I would've been in middle school.
  11. The Ritual: It's that new-ish Netflix 'don't go in the woods, or Nordic pagans will sacrifice you to a demigod' movie. It's alright, nothing special. Films Watched: 11
  12. The Cloverfield Paradox: It's a mediocre third film. I don't really get why people are calling it awful, but it ain't perfect, either. Films Watched: 10
  13. The Godfather: This is the first time I've seen this in going on what feels like twelve, thirteen years. And, well. What can I say that hasn't been said already? Films Watched: 9
  14. If it's on the same level as the first one, hey, I'll go see it.
  15. The Warriors: It's incredibly 1979, and that's why I love it so much. Films Watched: 7
  16. Vince sounds like someone who would physically combust if he got within fifty feet of me.
  17. Rogue One: While it isn't anywhere near the greatest Star Wars film, it's certainly still got a lot of highlights. Films Watched: 6
  18. Recently, I've gone through Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier and third John Dies At The End book. They're both pretty good, but I think I enjoyed The Final Dossier more.
  19. I don't know how much more I would have liked this film if the lead wasn't Charlize Theron. Sidenote: now I need to read LeCarre.
  20. While I'm not gonna speak for every queer person, we generally agree that 'Burying Your Gays,' or the act of killing one of the only two queer people on screen in order to cause angst for the other one, generally isn't very cool, and has implications towards the idea that queer people are only good at dying or suffering. Personally, I'm not above killing queer characters, but I'm also of the opinion that you need to be extremely careful when doing it, for obvious reasons.
  21. The Post: It was alright. Films Watched: 5
  22. As one of those millennials, all I can say is, Will's got a point.
