The Rolling Stones, Robert A. Heinlein : I am only two thirds of the way through this book and I am wanting to negotiate a deal between Mike, Dan and Wendee over sponsoring a The Edge of Forever / Books Without Pictures crossover because I am finding many connections between this book and Star Trek. For example: I noticed the mother said
" I'm a doctor not a Fortune Teller " - Chapter 6
And I just got to the part where the Martian flatcat is having a litter.
I would like to see what other connections could be made.

Jodorowsky's Dune
Completely forgot about that one. Thank you for reminding me!

Oh how could I forget Jodorowsky ' s Dune, that one was amazing!

I like the Ken Burns documentaries as well. Dear Mr. Watterson is on my to view list. Before National Geographic had their own channel I always looked forward to their specials on NBC.
One older one that I like is "Dead Birds" by Robert Gardner.

I am both excited and nervous at the thought of a Buckaroo Banzai television show.

I like the Addams family movies because Sonnefeld used both the original comic as well as the show. He got the relationship between Gomez and Mortician correct as well as the fact that the series was subversive.
I also like his story about how he broke his wrist when he punched Will Smith.

The son of one of my high school classmates just had his senior prom. And now that I think about it, her firstborn would be 20 or 21 by now.
On my sophomore year of high school, my Algebra 2 teacher cursed us by telling us that in ten years we would all have kids and they would be keeping us up all night being sick and crying.. Whenever I browse my friends on Facebook I think I may be one of the only student who escaped her curse.

These sound great! Did you guys watch dubs or subs?
Subs. And they are great.
I got the dub, but I am going to try to get the subbed. From what I have heard in ep. 458, the subs was much better

I wonder how many of the children who watch this show got the Breaking Bad reference, as well as the fact that the entire episode is a parody of Speed.

Hey James and Damien, do you think news can get too caught up in pushing an agenda?
or getting people frightened

God, I hate Siskel.
Whenever I look back at their reviews I find myself listening to just Ebert. Especially since Siskel always talked down Miyazaki's movies.

Hope you had a happy Birthday.

I didn't believe it the first time I heard that the leading actress was Steven Segal's daughter.

I am glad to have seen Kukuryo celebrate his Hugo nomination before deviantart had his account suspended.

Thank you for covering these films. I love the new Gamera trilogy, especially "Revenge of Iris."

Yes, the narcissism accusation does come from the fact that my name is Ricky. I wish I had his superhuman strength or even looked as good as he did.

Buckaroo Banzai's home video.

Today I was driving near a school and slowed down to 25 mph. the truck behind me honked their horn. I looked behind and saw the person had a "Oh wait I get it" look on his face nodded apologetically and gave me a thumbs up for respecting the safety of the children.
And that is what road rage is like in Indiana.

Thank you for clarifying the part about not copyrighting original characters in your fan work. I originally thought that Paramount Studios wrote that to get rid of characters like Star Trek Continues Dr. Ellse McKennah played by Michele Specht. But your discussing it helped me realize that they are trying to avoid messy lawsuits like Archie Comics vs. Penders.
