    I really liked your talk about physical fitness. I have to watch how much sugar I eat because almost all the men in my family have diabetes. It is a struggle for me because many coworkers drink cola by the liter and I love chocolate. It gave me comfort to know I am not the only person who struggles with diet and exercise.

    I am also doing some research into the stock market. As a kid I always imagined it as a money farm just invest some change and come back in a few months to find it grew into a cash tree. In high school I regretted not buying any google shares due to how quickly it grew (never mind that I did not have enough money to buy a single share). So I won't be getting rich via Stock Market any time soon.

    But I am still plan hare brained ideas to get financially independent.

    I think the darkest aspect of it is the role of women as literal pieces of furniture. I'm kind of amazed that such a perceptive metaphor for how society views women is in a film from 1973.

    I remember hearing that this was the first movie to show a video game, computer space, whose ads looked like....

    Whatever it is you're trying to link to, it's not working.

    Devil is an awesomely bad movie. I still remember seeing it and it's so obvious that the little old lady was the devil. Even though he only did the story, it still reeks of Shyamalan.

    Sorry about the link problems. The image I was trying to show was at a local disc replay whose refrigerator was stocked with Surge.

    I am going into Hyperion with no backstory whatsoever. I did not look up reviews or excerpts or even the authors story. All I know is that there was a reference to it in the anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"

    Halfway through the poet's story. I think the reason why it was brought up in an anime is because this book is anime in prose form.

    Oh my gosh! (channeling James from when he makes the Catwoman and Mean Seasons connection)

    The Colony from Double Team is a 90's version of the Village from The Prisoner. They even went so far as to including a giant ball that absorbs people. 250px-Rover.jpg
