Just curious what people have planned for tonight. Frankly, I haven't decided what I'm doing after I get out of the gym tonight. It's narrowed down to going to the bar where I know everyone or staying home. I did the house party thing last year, and really had no fun at all, as it wasn't my friends. I figure all my friends are going to be at the bar tonight, but I'm just really not committed on the idea of going to the bar.

But what about Lar's gold-plated shark tank bar he wants installed next to his pool?

Anyone catch ESPN news right after the fight where they listed Liddell winning by "unanimous knockout"? That's some ace reporting there.

Picks: A lot of people are talking like Hughes doesn't have a chance here, and even though I'm picking GSP, you would have to be an idiot to count out Hughes. GSP by KO 3rd. Liddell looked horrible against Jardine, and unless he's stepped up his game, Silva should take this. Silva KO 2rd. Sokoudjou Ko 1rd. Melvin will be too much for Rich and it should end early. The problem with Arlovski is he's too dangerous right now. With the influx of Pride guys, the heavyweight division need to settle, and with Cro Cop and Nog's dissapointing showing in the states, possibly giving credibility to insinuations of steroids, the UFC has basically sat on Andrei's contract. He still has one fight left, but according to an interview Dana has basically told him they will be sitting on it for awhile. Mirko/Andrei would be a waste if it wasn't for the title, nobody I know wants to see Tim with the title, and it's ludicous that he's being awarded a title fight after only one win. The UFC should have gone with a combination of Nog/Kongo/Arlovski for the title. With the third guy getting the next shot. However, where to go from there is another thing entirely, Cro cop, Werdum, Gonzaga, Vera, Mir all have recent losses.

Right off the top of my head I will go with Lesnar/Mir and Faber/Pulver. Lesnar/Mir should be interesting as it all depends which Mir shows up. If his oldself comes in, I could see him getting an early submission on Lesnar. However if out of shape Mir show up, I could see Lesnar using his strength and cardio to L'n'P Mir after he gasses.

I've pretty much stopped watching a long time ago, I still read the sheets and reviews online, and Jericho's pretty much where he belongs. I know he has a lot of fans, but he just isn't the guy to run the main event.

As a huge mma fan, I'm looking forward to this for, but in my heart I know the fights probably won't be that good. Sokoudjou should run through his opponnet, Silva hasn't been top since his win over rampage, and Liddel looked horrible losing to Jardine. As for the main event, as big a Hughs fan as I am, I don't see him taking this. I agree with Drq, I'd rather have the Anvil on here then Sanchez.

Could not agree more on these two. I think 7 is overrated by fanboys who only got into RPG's through this game, yet talk about it like it's the greatest game of all time. It seems most people put down 8, but I actually hold it above 7 as being better in almost every way.

It's a good game, just way to simplistic.

Final Fantasy has been treading water for years. Don't get me wrong, I love the games and they're always fun and engrossing to me, however, I can't shake the feeling that ever since 7, I've been playing the same game over and over with merely little tweeks here and there. I do enjoy them, but they have become a bit redundant, and I guess that's why I haven't pre-ordered one, or even gotten one on it's release day since 9.
