so..... any decisions been made yet.

I kind of wish they did thin in the final issue of CW, than in Captain America's issue.

Got to agree with James here. Reminded me of FLCL the second I saw it.

Haha, Groundhog Day Part 12.
It's about time this movie came out on dvd.

See, I'm leaning towards Ted because it put him on the map. But Neo made him a star. So torn.
I think his character from Speed was the one that made him a star, not neccisarily the Matrix movies.
Excellent point, cvskin my friend!
Actually if you ask the man himself, he will tell you that he was already a start before Speed. I don't have a source, but I remember in a interview the reporter said something like "So Speed has definitely made you and Sandra bona fide stars". To which he replied "lets get this straight, I was already a star before Speed".
For what its worth, I think he is right (as arrogant as he makes it sound). Johnny Utah made him a star.
Punk. Quarterback Punk.
See, when I look at the movies he did between Point Break and Speed, there's aurguably only one big time movie out of the six he did, Dracula. However inbetween Speed and the first Matrix movies I'd aurgue that atleast 4 out of the 6 could be considered big time movies.

Swimming was the best change to the game, that and actually having a story that wasn't just "there".

I agree wholeheartedly with you. I always found it ridiculous that a character such as Kruger was being played in a way to get laughs from the audience. He was pedophile when he was alive and should be despised as such. I think you hit the nail on the head with your remark about the branding of the character leading to the comedic value.

It's a shame what Eddie Murphy became, but like Drq, old school Murphy is golden.

Hope you have a good one.

Yawn. I saw the trailer with the Ghost Rider, I'd still like to know why Yoshiki Okamoto keeps letting Paul Anderson make these.

The second a movie is released, the thread dedicated to the movie becomes a spoiler thread.
I thought that too. Once a movie is released, people can discuss it in the thread.
-
Also "The Guy Game" which got released on the PS2 and XBox. The whole game consists of answering questions to get different women topless.
Forgot about that one.
oh, and speaking of Postal, Uwe Boll is at it again.

Does the portion in italics describe a console video game? I've never heard of any console game (PS2, PS3, XBox, XBox 360, GameCube or Wii) that features that sort of footage.
BMX XXX had videos of strippers as rewards.

Sounds like a neat marketing idea, alas, I canceled my local newspaper subscription along time ago.

I like the movie but I thought the end fight between Ghost Rider and Blackheart was over really fast and seemed too easy.
I thought that too. I was hoping that after Blackheart absorbed the souls from the contract, he would show his true form which would lead to a fight sequence. Alas, it was over too soon.
-
I'll be honest, I had never heard of this movie until now, but your review makes me want to go see the first screening the day it opens. Once again you deliver another brilliantly written piece.
-
I saw the first screening when it openend on Friday, and I agree with the consensus that it's not a bad movie, but not a great one either. I would say it falls on the good side of average. My only complaint was the fact that they never showed Blackheart's true form.

that trailer's just kind of "meh".
-
i have no idea what that means either...fill me in.

The best part was Trebek has no idea what it means, but the audience goes crazy for it. You know when Trebek walked over there he asked that contestant what it meant.
Next tournament?

Haha, being lazy kind of goes hand in hand with Oscar the Grouch as your avatar.
