Not that ive seen this confirmed anywhere but this past weekend in the Sun newspaper there was a little snippet saying that Michael Rosenbaum (sp?), of Smallville fame, was playing Freddy. No idea where that was from though which seems weird

The writers dont really want to take the story out of Smallville which is fine and was the shows purpose, but, the only way to get things going again is to somehow let them move the series ahead in years to him working at the Planet. Although the film kinda stops them from doing that which means for me Smallvilles stuck

I like it, so is this the end of Piper then? I was hoping that they would be using him after the event as a much bigger name than before

Ive enjoyed the series, nothing ground breaking but what they have done has been done well. Plus there is still a huge amount of story to do with the future John Connor and the war, which was nice to have flash forwards last week too for pretty much the first time ever for an extended period of time.

I kinda liked it and hopefully they have a season arc that leads to a two parter at the end with Hasselhoff being involved with maybe an original KITT perhaps?
Didnt really like the new Mikes mother getting killed and him not really being bothered though, I know he wasnt really close to her but before she was shot they did seem to be getting close

Id much prefer a Mortal Kombat film over Street Fighter any day though, as long as its done right similar to the first film

Without having any exposure to Superboy Prime before it really seemed like they were going to get him over huge with this series, have him fighting everyone then towards the end save Todd or someone and realise he can help rather than kill or something stupid and then save the day. Instead he was just killed for the sake of it it seemed to me, oh well
Is the ending to Countdown actually known yet or is it still unkown? If so what are peoples ideas to the finish?

After reading the book again I for some reason have a feeling that this will turn out to be Robin telling an over the top story of him and Bats to the other youngsters some time in the future, maybe his bragging of this then perhaps the story will change to have him getting one over on Batman. Leading to him being more respected by the others, as a reason to why he takes the leadership role as the others are impressed/scared of him and what happened with Batman in his story. Well I hope so anyway otherwise reading that part is really weird to read

See if Smallville hadnt have go on for too long now I would be saying that they need to have Tom Welling play Clark in the film, start similar to what Yoda said in cancelling out most other films and beginning again from the end of Smallville. Start with Clark himself finding he can help more than just his friends and there you have a great film of discovery, throw in a mega strong opponent for him to max his powers out on and your sorted.
Problems are that Smallville has dragged for the last 2 or maybe 3 years and its abit tiresome, and more importantly Welling himself has said before publicly that he doesnt want to be cast as Supes for the rest of his career

A idea maybe about Countdown, instead of doing a big show for it perhaps people should all post comments in the Countdown thread as reviews of each issue. Still lets people keep up with the series and also may encourage others to write reviews for the site in the future maybe?

Im guessing that Villians will be about everyone discovering their darker sides, the younger heroes who were running down their elders should discover why/how they drifted to the 'dark side' if you will

The Howard the Duck cover art has gone from being interesting and cool to looking really lazy

I really liked the Linderman character as I thought he had alot more story left concerning the company and no Adam, hey maybe he's not dead the guy could heal people remember

Not sure if they want him and Wolverine together for too long but I would like Deadpool following them around for awhile for some reason.
Has anything been released about whats going to happen at the end of #50 yet? Maybe,depending on the ending, they could have him want to join the Initiative for the health plan like his mate from Hydra, not sure of the names as havent read too much of the C + D series

I actually really liked the theme once it got about half way through, also I thought the first two episodes were a great start to the series in establishing characters and storys. Although I wasnt really digging the baddy in number 2
