b]Mull: If DC wanted publicity (good or bad) in regards to their heroes being in a strip club, why weren't the male heroes seen in a club, too? It seems clear, to me anyway, that DC was attempting to protect Superman and the male heroes, while playing into readers' hands by showing them the female heroes drunk for sex.
Personally I dont think it was a decision to protect the male heroes, rather their opinion that the males didnt need to do that to gain extra attention whereas the female heroes could do with more attention/depth possibly. But, on the other hand I can see where your coming from concerning the girls being drunk for sex and the writers possibly not wanting the guys or needing the guys in the same situation. They may have possibly thought that both parties going to a club would have been overkill on the situation and just picked the best option which gave them the most legs for the main characters

Nice review Yoda, and concerning DC's name female heroes being in the club the way I look on it is that any publicity that may arise due to this be that good or bad is going to 'hopefully' pick up interest in the characters on a broader scale, not to equal the male heroes popularity on the whole but to a point where female AND male readers feel an urge to pick up some of these characters own titles in the future, probably didnt make much sense but im rambling and eating lol

Marvel didnt want another special event that everything rotated around though, as people complained that there were so many Civil War tie ins to buy. If that hadnt happened then I guess WWH would have been dragged on for longer covering more titles, so that they would then have been able to move slower with the capturing of Heroes and tortue before the grand fighting began meaning alot of different stories to handle through all the tie in titles

Had heard the news but didnt realise that they were actually in the UK till I heard of an interview yesterday with a guy from the film, the grey headed guy from Heroes who was above Mr Bennett no idea of names lol

Speaking of Eccleston, I never rated the guy when the first series aired in the UK as I always thought he was too over the top with his cheesy grins, it wasnt until recently when I rewatched an episode or two that I finally came to like the guy and his over acting really really suited the role for him

About the Penance book, I dont get why they have decided to make a small series of books just on him when they are focusing on pretty much the same thing in Thunderbolts, I know its all about the money but still. Also him having these piercings everywhere is new as he doesnt seem to have any in Thunderbolts

Was wondering what powers Hiro's Dad and Nathans Mom have as I dont think we have been fully told yet, perhaps they could have slightly altered powers to that of their offspring similar to Parkman and his father maybe?
The reason I ask is because if that be true with Hiro's father it would have been a nice touch to have him appear with Adam somehow in the past, maybe im jumping the gun in thinking that there could be a chance that Hiro's father is a follower of Adam and was preaching him to Hiro to eventually have him follow in the future. Or Hiro's Dad is against Adam and didnt know who he was before
