  1. My issue, as was true when Lesnar squashed Kofi to regain the WWE Championship, is that it makes Rollins/Bryan look weak (I don't give a fuck about the Miz) and this has been done so Roman can win the title to reduced boos as opposed to him beating the Fiend (which I had anticipated). I don't care about the leukiemia - fuck Roman Reigns. HOW do you base a business model around pushing a guy no-one wants to cheer as opposed to being reactive to your audience's demands?

I'm a great great uncle. Yes, this means my nephew is a grandfather. I was an uncle at 3, but still, another reminder of my age.

    Also, get off my lawn.

Congratulations! And it's not like you can really choose when your relatives have sex in any case. I'm 34 and my cousins were all born between 1967 and 1995 (So they'll be 25-53 this year?). And I'll bet that is far from being the widest age disparity for board users either.

  3. As announced on Episode 72, to mark the April release of Bond 25 "No Time to Die", and with FYEO not coming back any time soon, the Brothers Wilson intend to mark the month by covering 3 non-Bond films by one of the main men to hold the mantle*.

So, vote for who you would like us to cover and the winner will be announced this month/next episode during Episode 73.

*Not Lazenby - we need actors with FILMOGRAPHIES.

  4. Yes, you can help influence not only the film Pandy & I use as the joint review, but the homework we assign each other to plot the range of their career. As announced in Episode 72, our subject will be Cameron Diaz.

Pandy & I will take an executive decision on what makes the joint review by Friday 21 February so get your ideas in before then!

NB) We will not be covering The Mask.

Awesome! Is this the promotion where he's gonna have a match soon?

No, that's a different promotion although the talent is very much the same. As it turns out, I'm busy that evening so I can't go and see it.

As for the evening itself, I felt at one with the audience - mostly overweight men in t-shirts with questionable grooming. Highligh was Eddie Kingston of TNA/ROH/CZW/PWG fame being in a No DQ match with the local Mick Foley-ish guy Rory Coyle and brawling right next to me in the crowd, to the extent that I saw the brutality of chops upfront before Kingston grabbed an empty beer can and twatted Coyle across the head with it. Coyle would ultimately win with a Samoa drop-esque move onto a VCR, having used VHS tapes as props during the match.

Everything else was basically solid. I briefly said hello to Tom in the nearby pub afterwards but after he advised someone else was getting his drinks in and as he had someone else to talk to, I withdrew, saying that I'd drop him a tweet instead (which he almost immediately responded to - what a guy!)

  6. I'm at my first local fed show (North Wrestling) which involves Cultaholic's Tom Campbell as ring announcer/commentator and Botchamania's Maffew as co-commentator. Bought an early ticket, so I've just seen Tom host a warm-up quiz before the show starts in 10 minutes.

I really hope not.  The last thing I want to see is Edge in a ladder match.  It is just not worth it.

    Seconded.

I'm fine with a match with Orton at WM as that writes itself. Afterwards, Edge can get into other feuds without the need for MITB. Personally I want to see Edge/Bryan, even if Bryan's only recently turned face and they'd be boneheaded to turn Edge heel anytime soon. More realistically, I'm thinking Edge/Rollins, given the Authority angle with Rollins threatening to curb stomp him into paralysis when retired.

  8. The Man who directed one of the greatest comedy films of all time (Life of Brian). Also, I saw him give a promotional talk in 2004 about his book about the mysterious death of Chaucer and he was very engaging.

Pandy & I will take an executive decision on what makes the joint review by Friday 24 January so get your ideas in before then!

NB) We will not be covering Judge Dredd.
