    I don't know whether to get X or Y but knowing little about which Pokemon are exclusive to either version it might come down to a coin-flip. Ian and I had a poster of the original 150 Pokemon and weighed up which of Red or Blue we should get, but we've not done that for any game since.

    Regarding the police stupidity in their chase turning from Bane and chums (a less successful Saturday morning site than Lothar and chums) there are two points if like to raise:

    1) 'Harvey Dent Day' was very recent (a few days earlier at most) so the mysterious disappearance of Batman having allegedly killed their White Knight would be fresh in their memory.

    2) These are peace time police who have proved themselves to not be as diligent as they once were, except for Blake: the wonder cop. After 8 years of not much to do after the Harvey Dent Act they'll be looking for political point scoring to prove themselves. Catching Batman is THE big fish.

    But still...what a douche

    I know it's been suggested before but we had a Matrix marathon this week and I'd love to hear how you guys would properly handle a rebooted Matrix story.

    You know, with a good ending that links well to the first two. You might not even need three movies!

    So one've Kel's aunts that she doesn't see very often has refused to come to the wedding reception on the grounds that she wasn't invited to the whole day.

    1. Petty. As. Fuck.
    2. We're paying for this ourselves: there are sacrifices
    3. If she knew the reason we're having the wedding earlier/cheaper than we would've liked maybe she wouldn't be such a child about it.
