  1. That was a fantastic book. I was very intrigued by this, (apparently oft-delayed title) can you explain what the deal is with it?
  2. I just read Venom Vs. Carnage and am starting on Hulk: Grey. Hey Ragnarok, what do you think of the Ultimates? I want to get into it, but I want to make sure it's worth getting into first.
  3. Just do the Spawn/Juggernaut battle we all know is coming.
  4. I'm sure he stole that right from us.
  5. Yoda, read page 90 of February's Wizard, and please explain this to me. Marvel is introducing an alien, named Clark Kent, who is also a reporter who scoops Peter Parker a lot. This confuses me, mainly due to massive copyright infringements.
  6. Yeah, which is awesome. Plus, he's not "ME AM BIZARRO" anymore, he's more like a horror villain. Plus, throw in some of the smartest brains in the DC universe guiding him, and you have a massively awesome villain. I also missed a page of the villains, so here are the rest of them: Lex Luthor-With gizmos. Fairly neat costume. Poison Ivy-The "human" version. Brainiac-Normal sized, not a giant robot brainiac. Solomon Grundy-Basically a mix of the Hulk and Swamp Thing Cheetah-she skinned a live cheetah and wears the skin.
  7. I'll scan it or something Saturday or sunday.
  8. Looks like he is writing/arting a new series, hitting shelves in "the second half of '05". Looks like it is all Silver-Age characters, so it's safe to assume it will exist outside continuity. He's called it a "Superhero war book" which really excites me. So, there is a war between the Justice League and the Legion of Doom. Who comprises Ross' Legion of Doom? -Bizzaro Superman-Except he's more creepy and evil, not ME AM SUPERMAN Bizzaro. He looks freaking evil. -Toyman-Plays the role of the master spy/inventor. -Riddler-Not much is changed. -Scarecrow-He's received a small cosmetic facelift, he's no longer as gangly anymore, and his mask is more skull like. -Sinestro-Mainly joining the Legion to get a chance to kill Hal. -The Joker-Is like the "outsider" of the group.

    Batman/Superman

But the book is good, right?
  10. "Sexy costumes, a fair amount of flesh, and a few well choreographed fight sequences can’t make up for the fact Elektra lacks heart." becomes: "Sexy costumes, a fair amount of flesh, and well choreographed fight sequences make up for the fact Elektra lacks heart." and: "Substituting titillating triumph for tragedy, this adaptation of Marvel Comics’ knife-wielding knockout comes across as hopelessly blunted. " becomes: "titillating triumph"... "Marvel Comics’ knife-wielding knockout" Yay!

    Batman/Superman

I'm really, really interested in this, but was wondering if anyone was following this?
  12. Yeah, there were some serious battles going on, I didn't want to HHH them.
  13. My belle, these are words that go together well, my Michelle.
  14. Samus can move in three dimensions. Megaman has 2. Go Samus!

    Dual Hemi Jeep

This would destroy your wallet as far as gas goes.
  16. Yo, the boys at WAC need people for their annual year end awards and stuff. So, if any of you want to write about what you think is the best/worst comic book/movie/videogame, PM it to me, I'll format it, zip it over to Yoda, and yay.
  17. Darkseid, Galactus, Silver Surfer, the Spectre, Parallax, Thor, (any Asgardians, really), Juggernaut, Doomsday, "smart" Hulk, Thanos, Surtur, the Phoenix, Magneto. As Drq said, any villain that isn't a psycho would fuck Batman.
  18. Yeah, the fact his resume consists of mainly comic book things sort of triggered that reaction.
  19. The name popped up on Smallville. I was wondering if there was some connection.
  20. You holding out on us, Yoda?
  21. Superman can be pushed to killing if the body count gets high enough. He bitches and whines about it a lot, but it can be done.
  22. Superman could fly him to the moon. Game over.
  23. Well, I guess at the Popcult, I have two column names, one is "2 Fat 2 Furious", which is my normal review column name, and the other is "The Comic Movie" which entails all the comic movies I've reviewed. Should I file Smallville under A or B?
