  1. This fight would be major ownage. I'll take Scorpion because he is now imbued with the power of the Elder Gods and he is that much stronger than he already was. Akuma wouldn't go down easy by any stretch, but Scorpion would outlast Akuma...

...and then rip his jugular out.

  2. Fatal Attractions will always be the greatest X-Men storyline. Besides Wolverine having his metal bones ripped out through his skin, Xavier showed that he can lose it and unleashed a psychic beam that turned Magneto into a vegetable. Colossus turned heel, Wolverine left the X-Men because his healing power was burned out and he didn't want to be a burden on the team. Cable was destroyed by Magneto. The X-Men and X-Force were never the same after it. The whole thing was one tragedy after another.

Fatal Attractions set the stage for the next decade of X-Men-related comics.

  3. Contagion, Cataclysm and especially No Man's Land are a MUST READ for anyone looking to get into Batman. It's the transition between old Gotham City and new Gotham City.

The Long Halloween isn't a must read, but I highly recommend it because it tells how Two-Face came to be. Very emotional and tragic story.

Tower of Babel is quite possibly the best JLA story ever.

Haunted Knight is very enjoyable, also.

Batman in Hong Kong is worth the buy if for nothing else than the artwork.

  4. It can be either OAV or OVA. It stands for "Original Animation Video" or "Original Video Animation". OAVs are usually a series of anime episodes made exclusively for home video release and not for TV or cinema. OAV's usually have longer and better episodes (since they don't have to worry about TV censorship), and better animation. An OAV could be based on an already existing Anime TV series or it could be a totally original story.

As for Read or Die itself, I've seen the Japanese language versions and it rocks. I don't hold as high a hope for the English translation (I never do for any English-translated anime) but they can't screw it up that badly since it's such a uniquely cool show.

  5. Just to help you guys out who have the game:

Kenshi is unlocked by getting a key from a chest in the first area of Konquest Mode. Just go to the Krypt after getting the key and press R1 and it will automatically go to the grave where you can unlock him as a playable character.

I also unlocked Jade, but I forgot what Krypt coffin hers is. It is one of the most expensive Jade Koin-opened tombs. Like 2,400 jade koins will open her coffin to make her a playable character, but I cannot for the life of me remember which one it is. :bang:

I've also unlocked the Portal stage from MK2 and the Dead Pool from MK2. There is no stage fatality on the Portal, but on the Dead Pool, you can push them into the acid on any side of the arena.

If anyone unlocks another character or arena, post it here. Help a brutha out, meng. :)
