Freddy Kreuger, on the other hand....
I think Batman would use modified Scarecrow fear toxins on Kreuger and that would be his undoing.

I love westerns. Tombstone is my second favorite movie ever. But I do think their time has passed. I'd say leave them as classics and don't try to copy their glory with shitty-ass remakes and/or "new" storylines that ultimately suck balls. (Wild Wild West, anyone?)

Batman would win this. And I would pay $100 to see fight/storyline this in a comic book or graphic novel. I would also pay $200 to see Freddy VS. Batman.

I totally agreed with everything you said here. I bought the DVD several months ago and I've probably watched it 20 times already. Seriously a great, well-written movie. And this column did it more than justice.

I made a Brigandier/Andvari model with a cool twist. I took a Deathscythe Gundam and cut it's wings off. I painted them red and attached them to the Brigandier model. So, it can be Brigandier without the wings or Andvari (the omnigear) with the wings. Oh, and I made the whips out of guitar strings. You'll see when I post the pics.

I posted these over at the Oratory months ago, but here is as good a place as any to post them. The models are all miscellaneous Gundam model parts cut, carved, painted, or thrown together with other Gundam parts from different kits to make these models. I guess you could say they are from scratch.
--Emeralda's badass gear, Crescens. The wings are clay, and they took...I shit you not...3 MONTHS to harden and fully take shape. That was aggravating as hell. However, I found that super glue rules everything and just splotched a layer of that over them to harden them permanently. The feathers are real, with a layer of jade-colored paint over them.
--First pic of Fei's 2nd gear, Weltall-2. This pic doesn't do it justice.
--Much better color in this pic. The camera flash didn't screw up as badly here.
--3rd and final pic: Weltall-2's Chi Blast pose. I took an open Gundam hand and carved the ring finger and pinkie finger off of it to make it a ninja-style hand shape.
Don't ask me where I got the time to make these things. I did win an award for the Crescens model at Anime Weekend Atlanta 7. I have two more models that I will post pics of when I can get a chance.

I FINALLY saw my first JLU episode and it wasn't great, but certainly not bad. There were too many moments of comedy in this one for me to stomach. I mean, Circe making Batman sing a LOVE SONG??????????? WTF.
Still, seeing Zatanna throw a piano at Circe = :OMG:

I'm going to say the Surfer, but it was a very hard choice.
Why? I'm not mocking your decision. I just want to hear why.
Surfer has been known to be driven mad with anger before and I think Parallax would be able to snap him, which would make Surfer unleash his unlimited power to the max. And I don't think anyone can survive the full, infinite force of the Power Cosmic.

On the official website. Hover over one of the circles on their emblem on their mainpage and it's there. There's actually a very good one with Ed Boon walking you through the new cool shit. You have to be 18 to enter the website, though. Not that that's stopped anybody else before, though...

This is wierd because I was thinking about this show for the first time in ages today. What was the story in the Green Ranger saga? I seem to have forgoten. Was their tension between him and the Red Ranger?
No, the first Green Ranger saga is the one I'm talking about. It was the origin of the Green Ranger. Rita Repulsa formulated a way to create her own evil Power Ranger and sic him on the five good Rangers. Eventually, the five original Rangers got the shit beaten out of them so badly that their Zords were destroyed and were buried underground. However, good prevails as they turned Tommy into a good guy and he, as the Green Ranger, joined the team.

Oh yeah. They're totally superficial. After all they're Beverly Hill teens who fell into the spy game. And I hated it at first too, but I came to love it after a few episodes.
Yeah, I gave it about 4 chances, and each episode bored me exponentially more than the one before it.

I've watched it and I really cannot stand it. At least Teen Titans has some characters I can like, since they have depth and I know who they are. The three spy chicks are as superficial as it gets.
But hey, nothing wrong with admitting it's a guilty pleasure.

Tonight's episode was BRILLIANT. Supergirl, Green Arrow and The Question had to figure out why Supergirl was dreaming such bizarre, psychotic nightmares. But it turns out they aren't dreams...
The story was amazingly well done. (I love Green Arrow. The man is just a badass.) I won't tell what all happened unless someone wants me to, but I am REALLY diggin' the 3rd season here after only seeing two episodes. The guy who did the voice of Scarecrow in the Batman animated series did the voice of the Question. I hope they do more with the Question, actually--his character is VERY cool.
