  1. Have you guys seen "Turn Left" yet? Three words: .
  2. Finalized order. I used to get around 20 monthlies, but I've been in the process of switching to trade and should be down to 8 or so with next month's order. PREVIEWS VOL XVIII #8 GOON #27 BATMAN #680 RIP GREEN LANTERN #34 JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA #18 SUPERNATURAL RISING SON #5 (OF 6) ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN #9 X-FORCE #6 CAPTAIN AMERICA #41 DAREDEVIL #110 GUARDIANS OF GALAXY #4 NOVA #16 LOCAL HC (C: 0-1-2) ATOMIC ROBO DOGS OF WAR #1 (OF 5)
  3. History. In elementary, in middle school, in high school, it was always history (which is probably why it's my major). And I agree about math, the damn subject can burn. Always ruined my straight A streak.
  4. I was going to WFTT on "Old Man Logan", but after you guys' review, there's no way I can wait that long.
  5. More classic Mega Man sounds great. I remember playing Mega Man 8 on the PS1. As fun as the originals. hopefully they'll keep the same graphics for 9
  6. There's Superman: Speeding Bullets, with Kal-El crash landing in Gotham. He's adopted by the Waynes, who name him Bruce. The alley scene happens as in the original origin, except this time with a Superman twist and just as in the comics, "Bruce" becomes Batman later. I'm not going to spoil it, but's it's definately worth checking out.

  11. Added the first two Walking Dead HCs.
  12. All I care about is if my main man Soundwave is in it.
  13. IMAGE MONSTER PILE-UP #1 Written by Todd Dezago, Alex Grecian, Phil Hester and Robert Kirkman, art and cover by Jason Howard, Andy Kuhn, Riley Rossmo and Craig Rousseau. Astounding Wolf-Man! Firebreather! Perhapanauts! Proof! If you've heard of any of these great Image Monster series, but just haven't gotten around to reading them -- we're making it easy for you! Monster Pile-Up #1 features new stories by the regular creative teams of these four titles, specially designed to tell you everything you need to know about each series in compelling tales essential to each series! This specially priced issue is not to be missed! It sounds like a new story. And even if it's recap, it's only .99 at DCBS, so it's not a major risk.

    Final Crisis

You know how people joke about a kitten dying when some situation happens? Well it really did happen everytime someone read Countdown.

I know! They'd call in Swan and have him re-draw it, which I guess was because Swan was the go to Supes artist of the time, but from that Kirby 5-Oh cover, it doesn't look bad at all.

Oh definately. I can see what he brought to comics and his importance (one of which I believe is the creation of the double page spread). I'm not saying he's an awful artist or that he's overated, his art is solid. It just doesn't strike me like it does for others and I'm sure the same is true for my personal favorite, Ditko.

Kirby's art does nothing for me. *Heads for the hills*
