  1. You had a lot of good points in that review. I also found that the story was slow and the music(in comparison) sucked. I was surprised that you beat it in 50 hours though(it took me 65). Also I'm sad to say that there is a lot of leveling up that you have to do in the first game(unless you find the secret training spot). It speeds up a lot after Marsh Cave though. At least it's not as bad as the original version(one attack takes 5-8 seconds). I suggest you also try the first Final Fantasy Tactics. There is a LOT of storyline(so much that I almost had to write down everything that happened) in that one. Also there are about 20 different battle themes. The characters are well developed. You don't have to spend as much time leveling up; although, battles can take as long as 30 minutes near the beginning. Also, it's easy to level up in this game because you gain exp in mid-battle(which means you can keep attacking then healing the person you attack). There are also many side-quests later in the game. All of the things that made this game great seem to be missing from FFT:Advance. Also let's not forget "The best insult next to 'Dweebinheimer' and 'Spoony Bard'"

I heard this on the news 2 days ago. I was wondering when somebody was going to post about it. I predict major flaming of this in the near future.
  3. I'm warning you, I'm quite good with a sword. I also know how to use a bow.
  4. Rocket Knight Out of this World OftW is one of the best dos games I've played, thoguh I can't remember the storyline. Rocket Knight is an old sega platform game were you're an armadillo with a jet pack and a sword. Your trying to beat an army of pigs after they destroyed your town.
  5. Rocket Knight vs. some other obscure sega character

In my D&D Campaign my friends have gotten to the town that is about to be attacked. So, Basically I want to give them a chance to level up before the army of dragons comes. Does anybody have a good idea/ideas for side quests?
  8. I dont really care about this at all. The show was great at first, but at the end of the first season they made it so you had to watch every episode to understand what was happening.
  9. I agree with that. They shouldn't have changed the game to a ground based fighting game.
  10. Shaman King, DragonBall and InuYasha are good. Personally I think One Piece is ridiculous. some other good choices: Eskaflowne Tenchi Muyo BASTARD!! CardCaptor Sakura(aka: Card Captors) Ghost in the Shell .hack// oh my goddess! Ranma 1/2 Yu Yu Hakusho whew! I didn't think I'd be able to list that many. A few good anime movies are: Princess Mononoke Vampire Hunter D This show is hilarious, but doesn't make much sense. Then again how many shows so you know of where the main character dies 10 times in the first episode that does. Excell Saga And another hilarious show that will make Excell Saga look perfectly normal and storyline based: Puni Puni Poemy
  11. I have a cell from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Found it really cheap too. Original price $200. Bought for $20.
  12. I haven't really read many spider-man comics. But from the comics and books I have read I think Mysterio might be a good villian. Though it might be a bit hard to develop his character.

I was in Computer Boulevard 2 months ago and saw a ton of computers like that
  14. Well. I haven't played half the megaman games sooo.... just use your best judgement. Use whichever ones are the most common.
  15. They both have most of their abilities. Also let's just assume they can both move in 3-D.
  16. This is classic Megaman I'm talking about; NOT Megaman X and NOT Megaman.exe from the Battle Network games. I have know idea why they would be fighting. Just make something up yourself. The terrain has many obstacles to hide behind, but both of them start in view of each other. -edit---- **** I forgot to make it a poll again. lol---
  17. I haven't seen it yet so I don't know WHERE it fits into the storyline, but I know that it does have a few spoilers in it.
  18. Dont listen to attila's advice. Trust me, I know him.
  19. I agree with Keith. Also. If you want a game with a great battle system and a very deep(but also very confusing) storyline, you might want to try FFTactics.
  20. Here's the only way I know how to help. Don't buy anything made by Mad Catz.
  21. Try to get Origins. Almost everybody likes the first one. It has a simple storyline(until the ending), but is still fun. "The world is covered in darkness, The wind dies, The sea rages, And the earth begins to decay. Only a prophecy kept hope alive in people's hearts: 'When the world is veiled in darkness, Four warriors of light will come' And after a long journey, Four youths did arive, Each holding an orb" Origins however is a bit different: They made an easy mode, you can run, you can use gold needles in battle, and they changed the names of a lot of things(imps are now goblins, oddeyes are now gogglers, etc.). The battle stuff and running you can turn off though. Anthology is another good one to get. It has 5 and 6 on it. In five you are trying to stop the ancient mage X-Death from breaking the seal that's keeping him from this world. 6 is about an empire that is trying to control the world by using magic, which was said to no longer exist.
  22. I WANT IT. I WANT IT. I WANT IT. This show is great. I still have to download about 10 episodes though.
  23. A lot of my friends have them. I've never heard of one wrecking a disk. In fact one of my cousins managed to fix a rather large gouge in her FF8 disk.
