Missy Posted March 4, 2014 Author Report Posted March 4, 2014 This is an exceptionally rough one for me. I'll need to read some arguments before I vote.
Dread Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Jessup all the way. He is an example of elitist privilege and institutionalized exceptionalism, clawing over everyone in their way and exerting power over the weak simply because he can get away with it: the problem with a lot of what's going on in the world today.
Mr Mockery Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 While all that is absolutely true Richard Thornberg is a complete and utter dick so while Jessop is technically a worse person I hate Thornberg more.
dc20willsave Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Thornburg is a shitty person. Jessup is worse.
slothian Posted March 4, 2014 Report Posted March 4, 2014 Thornburg is a douchebag, but his dickishness only really serves to ramp up the tension. Jessup's douchebaggery is borderline evil, and he LOVES it, whereas Thornbug is oblivious as to how unpleasant he is. Jessup for me.
Stavros Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Thornberg probably wouldn't knowingly kill someone for a story. He's manipulative and shortsighted but he's not training thousands of men to abuse and lie and kill in his own image. He's practically Colonel Kurtz, ruling his own Fiefdom.
The Wife Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 No, Jessup is the worst of all. Just look at him. He looks evil with them dam eyebrows and plus he treats Demi Moore like a hooker. Let's not forget how many years he has run the camp there, ruining young cadets' lives forever and grinning smugly. Don't know if I'd feel so strongly if it were played by another actor, but with Nicholson in the role, it's vinegar city.
Missy Posted March 9, 2014 Author Report Posted March 9, 2014 Col. Nathan R. Jessup will face Sylvia Bennington next time.
