RSS
For the fourth of Ian Wilson's Twelve Labours of Comic Reel-lief, our British host must brave new territory by recording a solo commentary of a comic book movie. So, rolling back the years, the film in question is the first movie Ian ever reviewed for Earth-2.net: Blade. It's listen-along fun! Donomark
17 years later and I'm thinking the '98 Blade is the best case scenario for a black superhero movie. Sleek, slick, cool as hell and an earned "R" rating that has be unforgettably bizarre and intense at times. Nicely done Ian!
Koete
"Look at the douchebag!""Blade's blade, so to speak.""You can tell that motherfucker is ripped."Good stuff.
Stavros
There's more than a slight note of Alan Partridge describing Bond to this. "Cut to Blade and yes he's with a lady".Then again I probably shouldn't be listening to it without the film.

slothian
It's one thing to listen back to some of your podcasting work, particularly if you didn't edit it.Listening back to this, particularly without watching Blade simultaneously, takes me back to my student radio days. I am trying to hold something together humourously, unscripted, for about 2 hours. Except I had music and backing tracks when I did student radio, so it's a bizarre listening experience. All of which is a roundabout way of saying, yes I probably lifted that bit from Alan Partridge!
