Missy
"Well, 'Daredevil' was a sort of personal thing for me because it was the comic book I loved when I was a kid," Affleck said. "I just felt I would never forgive myself. The 12-year-old me would never forgive myself if I passed up a chance to do it. I'm not sure I would do it again but it was fun."(source) Interesting bit of news here. Discuss.
slothian
Whilst an actor's career is ultimately up to them, I think that if you accept the lead role of a comic hero/ recurring villain, then you should be willing to do sequels so as not to spoil consistency. Having said that, whilst I would have liked Michael Keaton doing more Batman movies, I think he made a wise decision to get out when he did, solely because the Schumacher films took a completely different direction. James D.
The only thing there is, Keaton was in two good movies, whereas Daredevil sucked the big one.
