Missy
Hell, let's get the ball rolling on this. I have three ideas: 01. We update a villain. 02. We turn a villain into a hero. 03. We turn a hero into a villain. Let's first decide which of these we're going with, then we'll focus on the subject.
J Marv
Ooh, hero into a villain sounds fun.
Missy
At first I was leaning towards the first option, but, yeah, now I'm really liking the idea of turning a hero into a villain.

Dread
Hero into a villain sounds awesome. Is it a ground up Ultimatizing or a story idea to turn an in continuity hero into a villain?
Missy
Ground up, that way readers don't have to know current storylines to understand what's going on. I'd like to stay away from Batman and Green Lantern for the obvious reasons, as well as Superman and Wonder Woman. It's too easy to select them. Here's the list (in order) of whom I'd like to work with: Dick Grayson The Question Cyborg Raven

James D.
Raven is too easy, as well. I'll throw my vote to The Question.

James D.
How about Jonah Hex?
Missy
Now there's an idea! Never would have thought of Jonah myself. That said, the hero turned villain theme might not work with him, because, really, he's so damn borderline: he works mostly outside of the law, kills anyone who gets in his way, mouths off to everyone, etc. The only way to make him truly reprehensible would be to have him kill a kid or rape someone. Yeah, I think he's the top choice for the fourth iteration of this article. And you're right: Raven's too easy.
James D.
You've got that right with Jonah. He's too much of an antihero to be able to do a "hero-to-villain" change.
Missy
Okay, Dick Grayson it is. I'd like to run this on Thursday, 02 November. Anyone who wants to be involved needs to get their drafts to me by the preceding Sunday.
