Dread
I've got the original box set through "... Takes Manhattan" so I'll pretty much leave that alone. I know that the uncut Friday part 1 is literally a minute of more gore. I don't need that.
annericelover
I've got the original box set through "... Takes Manhattan" so I'll pretty much leave that alone. I know that the uncut Friday part 1 is literally a minute of more gore. I don't need that. I'll get it for the new features, but also because of the 3-D, I never saw F13TH 3 in 3-D, but not right away, I'll wait a little while, just in case they do make a box set. I mean, they'd have to be stupid to release 6 films and not release the other two. But than again its Paramount, if its not Star Trek, its not worth the time and money. You also have to remember the Documentary coming out too.
Guest
The first boxset was pretty much perfect. Had a great doc, some commentaries, and a whole disc of extras, and even the uncut stuff from seven. I have a bootleg III 3D, so that's no real loss either. Dread
The 3D isn't very good either.
Guest
True dat, but it came free with a purchase of Anthropophagus: The Grim Reaper.
Dread
True dat, but it came free with a purchase of Anthropophagus: The Grim Reaper. Ha! Usually the free thing is nowhere near as good as the thing you buy. That time it was the other way around.

Yeah, true but there were a shitload of deleted scenes from part 4, the alternate ending in part 3. Uncut footage from parts 2 and 5 and the R2 commentary for F13TH. I've never seen this Jason Forever documentary, so that should be cool. I will get that Many Faces of Jason Documentary, so there 3. Now if only New Line and Warner Brothers would get together and make an ultimate Nightmare on Elm Street documentary
SuaveStar
I bought the original set through 8 and don't see then need to buy this. Also the 1-8 set oknly got released over here about four months ago, so their won't be that big a market for this.
George W.
So they released F13th 3 in 3-D, but they won't do Jaws 3-D? I mean, it's not like it could hurt the film...

Dread
Anchor Bay is releasing a 2 disc documentary on Jason in February called His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th. It will defeat anything on these special features. I hope to have a screener in the coming weeks.

It doesn't really make me want to go out and buy this. Seeing as the review was just "You own two copys, why not make it three" I mean I like seeing Kevin Bacon die a horrible death as much as the next guy...
