RSS
The power of the written word (Transmetropolitan: One More Time), spy-on-spy anarchy (Black Widow: The Itsy-Bitsy Spider), and murder in gaudy tights (Hack / Slash: Super Sidekick Sleepover Slaughter) are the topics covered in this edition of Waiting for the Trade. Koete
Thanks to Mike and Dan for three great years of Waiting for the Trade. It's been one of my favorite podcasts on the site since it debuted, and the dynamic between the two of you was a big part of that. And congrats to Tom and Chris! I can't wait to see where you take the segment.
Missy
It would seem that after putting in our three years, we've regenerated into British people. Now where have I heard that concept before...?
Stavros
Mike, I always assumed all Americans secretly want to regenerate into British people. Chris, we're taking the segment into porn. Lots of porn. We're not even going to describe it or tell you which filthy top shelf rag we're looking through. We're just going sit there reading it going "Phoar" and "Look at the jugs on that". Every episode is going to be longer than the longest For Your Ears Only. Enjoy!

I'll miss it.
Stavros
It's a genuine pleasure to take over from both you gentlemen, thanks so much for the opportunity. Just remember to show Ian lots of attention and affection, just because Earth-2 is getting new British podcasters it doesn't mean you love him any less. slothian
It does, it does..... ....I will listen to this episode when I feel emotionally ready...
Missy
See it this way Ian: you're no longer a diversity hire, you're a forerunner.
Stavros
It's true, you're a trailblazer. It's like you're Earth-2's own Halle Berry.
slothian
Oh, please - Halle Berry is anything but a trailblazer. I am at the very least Nichelle Nichols.

slothian
It took 20 seconds for you to get a jab in, Hemmings!!! Congratulations, you have inspired an increase in Comic Reel-lief segment production - the war has begun!!

Guest
And then you hit me with British people! An emotional roller coaster, this episode.
SuaveStar
Waiting for the trade has consistently been one of my favourite E-2 segments, so I'm sad to see the loss of Dan and Mike. Howeever, Stavros is doing the show!! So, all is mostly right with the world. Look forward to hearing what you guys do with WFT, Tom. Transmetropolitan has always been a book I've wanted to read, but never really got to the "I think I'll buy that" stage with. I did pick up the first issue in the "After Watchmen, what's next?" series of things, and found it to be alright, so maybe I should go try it out soon.
